The ingredients they used were good. The size is great for any dish. I made about 6 burritos for my family and all of us except one used the salsa.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the chunky tomatoes. It's made with fire roasted tomatoes and cilantro, which are two of my favorite things in the world. I got the 16 oz jar and used it twice, once in chicken tacos and once as a topping for beef tacos. I really loved it with the chicken!

I enjoyed the spice blend, however the tomato taste was a little overpowering for me (my husband enjoyed it!). I tried it with tortilla chips and pita chips and definitely preferred the pita ones! The packaging is easy to open and close and the product design is eye catching!

While it's not a bad salsa, it lacks the deep, smoky roasted flavor that I was expecting. The consistency is a bit on the watery side, which makes it less ideal for dipping. The flavor is mild and fresh, but it doesn't stand out compared to other roasted salsas on the market. It was way too runny to be considered a salsa, and not nearly chunky enough. This would be more suited for a marinara to put over a pasta, as it honestly just slides right off of any chip you try to put it on. Flavor-wise, it could use some hefty doctoring with herbs and spices.

The roasted tomato flavor has a smokey sweet taste that you don't get from a restaurant style salsa usually. Unfortunately, the salsa was extremely thin and watery, soupy, which made dipping incredibly difficult.
