I make tincture by filling a jar about 1/3 full of the root, add 100 proof vodka to the top, tight lid & let sit for 6 weeks or even longer, sometimes I don't strain it and leave the root in the jar for several months as it never really spoils. I take it for any bacterial infections, a dropperful in a small amount of water every hour until symptoms are gone. You'll know it's potent because it leaves a tingling feeling in your mouth each time you take it. I've been working with this plant since I came across Dr. Vogel's work back in the early 90's when he travelled to the western world to learn from the Indigenous peoples.

I have bought this numerous times. I've always been impressed with the quality. Makes a very strong tincture.
