Organic Saffron Threads and some Plastic
I always try to buy spices in glass jars. This organic saffron fits the description. Right? Wrong!! I was very disappointed when I received the bottle because the saffron was actually sealed in a little black PLASTIC bag inside the glass jar. It does not say BPA Free so I am certain it is not. And the threads actually stick to the plastic when you try to transfer them to the bottle. If they wanted to preserve the freshness, they could have used some organic paper bags, not plastic or at least a BPA Free bag. The taste seems ok but I cannot help it to feel the taste of plastic. So, no, I do not recommend this product.
