If you like Middle Eastern food, this should absolutely be in your spice rack. It has a deep red color and a citrusy/tangy/smoky/earthy flavor. It's versatile and tastes delicious in many contexts beyond the traditional uses (try incorporating it into sweet dishes, as well as savory). Put it in/on anything that needs a hint of acidity. I can't get sumac in my country, so I'm grateful to be able to find it here.

I read about this seasoning via food reel and I was so curious!! it's such a great blend of herbs and I love the herbiness. it goes so well and cooking and I will buy this next time because the quality, ingredients, taste are all good and the size of this product is perfect. I love sumac - it is dried berries coarsely ground The flavor of sumac is quite surprising as the deep red spice is reminiscent of fresh lemon juice. This sweet but sour taste is followed by an astringent powerful punch. While having a diverse flavor profile, sumac still blends exceptionally well with other spices such as allspice, chili, thyme, and cumin. Similar to salt, it brings out the natural flavors of the foods it is cooked with. Try it sprinkled on chips or popcorn Yummy :)
