So far we have had only 2 mornings where we have had frost in the morning since I received my frost cover and it has worked great. The material is very durable and was easy to put together and fits nice. No complaints here. I cannot wait to see how it works when we get some snow.
So I bought this, xl for my Kia soul. It is a little larger than my windshield but I tuck one side in the door, as instructions direct, the other side I put the flap in the window so it is tight and completely covers windshield. I bought it to see if it would keep car warmer inside overnight in event I'm stuck in car. It makes a tremendous difference keeping cold out of car as well. It is so easy to just throw over windshield, close in door (or window) and when snows, the cold has a harder time seeping in and clean windshield in the morning. It's a very thick waterproof fabric type material on outside and lined with a thick layer of rubber or plastic. It doesn't stick to windshield and takes about 6 seconds to put on and same timeframe to remove. Snowy areas, park outside, this is a must have in my opinion. Because it's stuck in car, it won't get stolen.
Perfectly covered my windshield and wipers! Came out with n the morning after a night of snow and easily removed the cover, revealing a clean windshield and free moving wipers! Gave it a quick shake and this cover was ready and dry for its next turn. I highly recommend!
I needed something to help keep snow out of the wiper well on my Bronco sport. This fits excellent for width but had to modify the plastic polls cutting off 3-4 inches to allow length to completely cover well area for the purpose I needed this for. It worked out and still covers the whole wind shield. ordered on for my husbands Ford Ranger as he has same issue with Snow compacting in well. Gonna order another as a back up. I have used their brand before and was satisfied with quality. Would not hesitate to order in future.
nice easy to use windshield cover. not snow tested yet however.
I really like the frost guard and it does the job
This allows me to get on my way to work in the early morning without having to scrape my windshield. Definitely worth it!
I purchased another smaller sized windshield cover that indicated on packaging would fit smaller SUV's. It did not fit my Toyota Highlander. The XL size fit great. Works well in freezing rain and snow. It's a must have.
I bought this at Walmart to replace one i already had. The one I had previously had one security panel and two elastic straps. This lef to the straps freezing and becoming misshapen, thereby not holding the cover in place properly. This one has been great, except for the fact that I live where it noy only gets frigid and snowy, but also blows 60mph frequently. I returned from being gone for two weeks for Christmas break, only to find that one of the security panels had ripped loose, leaving the cover hanging down beside my car and not covering my windshield. I will see if I can resew it securely, otherwise I will replace it and see if I can make the place where the security panels are secured to the body of the cover atttached more securely.
A little big but this is better than having a big part of the surface not covered. Why did you leave off the straps which when attached to the rearview mirrors really help to keep the cover in place.
