as soon as i powered my TV on the LED lights turned on and synced with my TV i didnt download the app and i dont think i am as i read some neg reviews and i dont want to mess anything up. it was easy to put on and it makes movies way better. i 100% recommend this over the more expensive one.
First impression and quick test showed that the LEDs are all functional and bright. There also different modes. It looks like a good value and as far as longevity online time will tell.

Upgrading all the lighting in my house we were looking for a quality and cost effective way. These lights were a perfect addition. They added so much color to movie night and allowed us to enjoy the movies even more all weekend. They will get your attention. Easy installation. App is very simple.

I've had a govee tv light in my living room for years. I wanted something similar for my office and this is what I ended up getting. It works as good as the govee tv backlight and It's honestly easier to install and setup. If you're wanting the TV backlight that matches the screen, this will be perfect. If you wanted to also sync up to other lights and control a whole setup based off your TV govee is still your only real option (I've got govee RGB lights on the bookshelves beside my TV and The shelves under it plus the lamps beside my couch That sync to the TV) for $20 you're getting 90% of the features. If you can to live without being able to sync it to other lights then it is the perfect value.
These LED strips look great behind my TV and the colors are vibrant. Setup was straightforward and the music sync feature is genuinely impressive at parties.
The lights did not work right at all, only a small portion of the lights worked. They arrived damaged and in non-working condition. Very disappointed.
It doesn't go with the TV's picture. It's so far off. Not even close. Looks cool but not what we thought we were getting. I honestly wouldn't have bought it even on sale if I had known it was this far off.
