pretty good
my family is from cotija so we get the cheese fresh, directly from the source. when we've run out of what they bring back every time we go visit, I'll get this one. close enough and tastes pretty good. I actually think it's a good intro for those new to cotija cheese, this one doesn't have as strong a smell and flavor as what you get in Mexico and I know some people aren't a fan of the strong smell so could work great for those people

It is pre crumbled, I use it to refill my home-made shaker. We use this for everything that calls for parm. It's the cheese my kids eat with everything and ask for every time. The price is just right for the benefit of not having to crumble it myself.

it is what it is. i personaly didnt like it. it didnt melt well. was granular. soft taste but not a good as the fresh brick. like parmasean but no so much flavor. so many other cheeses with the same properties but taste better. this was borring. im sure people have good recipes for it, but its not for me. just meh

Poor selection.
NOT WHAT I ORDERED. I ordered OAXACA CHEESE NOT COTIJS. Could not use it. Ruined my chile rellanos because COTIJS doesn't melt.

Dry %26 tasteless
This pre-crumbled cheese is not good. It tastes dry, and basically had no flavor. The intact version is moist with lots of salty flavor. I will not be repurchasing this one.
