My gas cap light kept coming on and going on website jeep forums, the most common fix was to replace the gas cap. I searched several sites and this seemed like the most reliable for jeep parts. All I had to do was type year & make and they found my gas cap for me. Haven't had a problem since replacing the cap. Light no longer comes on. *** you will need to reset computer by removing positive cable from battery and then re-attaching.
I purchased this gas cap for a 2005 Nissan Titan. I found the website easy to use, the product fit my truck and I've had no issues. I received confirmation emails when my order was placed and when the product shipped and I received it within a couple days.
Only time will tell if this holds up, but my check engine light would intermittently turn on. It came on more often when the tank was not full and when it was warmer out. I took it to a parts store to run diagnostics and they came up with a general error code. I used some fuel line cleaner to no avail and then took it to the mechanic who charged me to run diagnostics for which they had no solution either. Replaced the cap and blammo, no more check engine light.
My cap broke as I was removing it to pump gas. I purchased this one which was very basic and fit all models of the 2008 Sebring. I was relieved that it did fit perfectly and was much sturdier than the original. It was inexpensive and arrived in 2 days. I really like ordering parks from Parts Geek-it's always quick and easy!
Check engine light, slight vaccum leak occurance with 2007 Chrysler Sebring. First place to look is the gas cap. Mine was getting weaker, seal was creating small leak. Purchased the Gates OEM fuel tank cap that meets the specs set by Chrysler, reset the code, drove 120 miles, check codes and problem solved.
Solid part. OEM quality at fraction of dealer price. Gates manufactured with proper rubber seal on back face. I had purchased 'parts store' brand cap that couldn't maintain proper seal and would regularly throw evap code. No issues since replacing with this piece
Very satisfied. This made my check engine and gas cap light go off when the one I got from another store did not do the job. It fit much more snugly and shipped very quickly.
Very satisfied with the ordering process, the timely manner in which my part was received and just the overall experience. When needed, will definitely use his website again.
Quality part. Excellent delivery. This has been my go to site for Dodge parts over several years. They offer both budget and OEM quality part. No nonsense, follow their procedure return service.
This appears to be everything the original cap was. The beauty of it is that it came a day after ordering. The dealership told me it would take several days. I didn't compare prices, but my guess is that this is much cheaper.
