Just what I needed

Anonymous September 24, 2017

My gas cap light kept coming on and going on website jeep forums, the most common fix was to replace the gas cap. I searched several sites and this seemed like the most reliable for jeep parts. All I had to do was type year & make and they found my gas cap for me. Haven't had a problem since replacing the cap. Light no longer comes on. *** you will need to reset computer by removing positive cable from battery and then re-attaching.

Purchased for a 2005 Nissan Titan

Anonymous August 22, 2016

I purchased this gas cap for a 2005 Nissan Titan. I found the website easy to use, the product fit my truck and I've had no issues. I received confirmation emails when my order was placed and when the product shipped and I received it within a couple days.

OEM quality part, great price

Anonymous January 10, 2017

Solid part. OEM quality at fraction of dealer price. Gates manufactured with proper rubber seal on back face. I had purchased 'parts store' brand cap that couldn't maintain proper seal and would regularly throw evap code. No issues since replacing with this piece

Check Engine Light Fix

Anonymous January 2, 2019

Only time will tell if this holds up, but my check engine light would intermittently turn on. It came on more often when the tank was not full and when it was warmer out. I took it to a parts store to run diagnostics and they came up with a general error code. I used some fuel line cleaner to no avail and then took it to the mechanic who charged me to run diagnostics for which they had no solution either. Replaced the cap and blammo, no more check engine light.

Fuel Tank Cap Replacement

Anonymous August 3, 2018

My cap broke as I was removing it to pump gas. I purchased this one which was very basic and fit all models of the 2008 Sebring. I was relieved that it did fit perfectly and was much sturdier than the original. It was inexpensive and arrived in 2 days. I really like ordering parks from Parts Geek-it's always quick and easy!

Jack 2007 Chrysler Sebring

Anonymous September 19, 2016

Check engine light, slight vaccum leak occurance with 2007 Chrysler Sebring. First place to look is the gas cap. Mine was getting weaker, seal was creating small leak. Purchased the Gates OEM fuel tank cap that meets the specs set by Chrysler, reset the code, drove 120 miles, check codes and problem solved.

Quality part. Excellent delivery. This has been my go to site for Dodge parts over several years. They offer both budget and OEM quality part. No nonsense, follow their procedure return service.

Ram fuel cap

Anonymous September 13, 2020

Besides having thrown the code, which we cleared, it also had the fuel cap icon. You have to clear it with removing the negative battery cable briefly. Otherwise, if the cap really was the issue, you are golden!

Solid replacement. No problems.

Anonymous September 1, 2018

We had a leaky tank cap which was kicking out an error. Replace with new one and problem went away as hoped. Only issue was that I needed to drill hope for tether line. Tried to pop out but that didn't work.
