The bed was surprisingly good quality for the price point. The pieces were all solid wood except for part of the sides which sit in the wood pieces. The ladder isn't the sturdiest as one piece broke off when my husband stepped on it to get a pillow off the top. It instantly cracked. He's 220 for reference. While the the top bunk states 300lbs just be mindful that the ladder to get up there doesn't support that weight. The bed was simple enough to put together And the holes aligned fine. We painted the whites black since we were using it for our teenager and wanted a more mature look. The white itself looked good too. The trundle rolls out easily. The support slats seem to be enough to hold the weight up. It comes with a-lot of slats! I would still recommend a board if your kids are rough. It doesn't wiggle like metal bunks do but you can feel a slight shift when climbing on top. We used 6 inch mattresses and that worked well. We used an old 8 inch in the trundle and it just fit enough to close it. I would likely use a smaller one if we didn't already have that. Our mattresses are all foam and the slats supported them well. The shelves on the side of the bed are nice. Our teen uses it for remotes, headphones, books etc.. it doesn't take up a ton of space but still holds a lot more then a twin bunk. Our son and his 4 teen friends all slept on it and it held fine with some rough play. They range in weight from 120-260. We didn't allow the heavier ones on the top (although they may have when we were asleep) and it held just fine between the 5 of them over a long weekend. That being said it's fairly good quality and holds well. Installation absolutely requires two people as there is no way to hold up all ends alone. I would even recommend 4 for the initial steps just to have one person holding up each end. The wood has a clear coating and the whites are lightly painted and coated. I would definitely recommend this bed/brand.
Resistent, stable. The same to this pictures. My husband assembled it alone in 7 hours, bad instructions. Required additional tools.
