I have tried several brands of protein and energy bars. I especially prefer the vegan ones since I do not like dairy. I find these bars very tasty and flavorful. They are not excessively sweet which I prefer. I do wish they were larger but then they would have a lot more calories? Overall, they are tasty and I would recommend them.

Pros: The taste and texture of these bars are soo good it's hard to believe it's made from mushrooms! These bars taste like regular candy bars but are less sweet and packed with 11g of protein! Best of all it's VEGAN, ORGANIC AND GLUTEN FREE! An all round great snack. Con: High in calories. 1 bar has 190 calories, so it's not a low calorie food.

My husband and I really liked the flavor of these chocolate brownie mushroom protein bars. We’ve tried the chocolate chip cookie dough and neither of us liked that flavor. This one is way better. You can’t taste the mushrooms which is great because I hate mushrooms. These reminded us of cliff bars in texture and they are a good chocolate flavor. I can taste a hint of what tastes like chocolate liquor. I love the clean ingredients. No soy, no wheat and no strange proteins just real food ingredients. I highly recommend these, each bar gives you a good amount of protein too!

They are flavorful and great for a treat that are filling and healthy. My Cordyceps make a much better choice for snacking over chips, candy or pastry and are much more filling, so they last the night. They come in a lot of delicious flavors if chocolate is not your favorite. I like mushrooms, but I thought the fact that they are an ingredient in these bars would gross me out but definitely not! I love them! I feel great after eating them. The flavors are good, the variety too. I use these as a meal, if I am not starving for lunch. I will definitely be buying more!

I really wanted to like these protein bars. I felt that they tasted like cardboard, They have a very bland flavor and really to me tasted bad. I am sure they are full of great protein and have health benefits but I just could not make myself like them.

I was hesitant to try these mushroom protein bars as I don’t like mushrooms and also thought they would be like vegan protein bars. Well I am pleasantly surprised, they taste good. They taste close to the flavor they are but not quite. They have good mouth feel, a little bit of crunch here and there from and chewy but doesn’t stick to my teeth. Try all look the same and have the same texture, just different in color and topping. My favorite is the chocolate brownie and my least is the chai, it burned, spicy and I like spicy food. Overall I am happy with them all except they are way too sweet for me. I would have prefer if they had like 2g only of sugar for my health and taste buds too. I can’t eat a whole bar, too sweet.

Being that this is made from mushrooms it has a surprising good taste. Mushrooms ate light though and do not have robust flavor but because of the chocolate and peanut butter, it is good. Its not overwhelming. It almost evaporated in my mouth once you chew a but. Could be a good thing. It's light so if your really hungry, you still will be. Pairing with a shake or pre-workout is good. This bar is a great option for folks that cannot fo dairy. My tummy felt fine after and did not have a gross after taste.

These have an interesting taste, not quite what I was expecting but not bad either. I have tried various protein bars over the years and they were all gross. These are not like that at all!! They don’t taste like vitamins and once you get used to them they are actually good. I love that they are gluten free and organic. I have a gluten allergy and trying to eat healthy and remain gluten free is harder than it should be.
