Just received my patio umbrella, let me just say the item arrived quickly. Everything inside was packed securely and the box it came in held up nicely. Thank you to the FedEx driver who placed it at the top of the porch steps. It made it easy for me to slide it in the house, because the box was a bit heavy. The box had a convenient handle sticking out of it to grab on and pull. Life saving!!! About the umbrella and base. The umbrella is gorgeous the apple green is so rich and vibrant. Glad I chose this color. The fabric is a quality polyester , suppose to be weather , wind, UV and fade resistant . Does not look thin or cheap. The frame is coated, sturdy and rust resistant. It has tilt and crank mechanism. The base is heavy duty and can be filled with wet sand for up to 100 Ibs of stability . Has nylon strap for storing . Couldn’t get a picture of it fully assembled, still too cold out. But went through everything in the box and everything checks out. I would recommend. Can’t wait to display this summer.

this will be great for our back porch this summer. it matches great with the outdoor furniture. and i love that it has a built on base. i have only been using it for over a week but it seems very well made and i will be able to use to many years to come

Assembly took a little time, but the instructions were clear and everything felt sturdy once set up. The included base is a big plus—it keeps the umbrella stable. The fabric feels durable and is easy to open, close, and adjust the angle. It looks modern and stylish on my patio.

The umbrella itself is fantastic. The beige canopy is a gorgeous, neutral color that looks very high-end on the patio, and for an 8x8ft square, it provides an impressive amount of shade. The metal pole and ribs feel durable, and assembly was relatively quick and painless. The crank and tilt features also work very smoothly. My main critique, and the reason for 4 stars on quality instead of 5, is the design of the cross base. Just like on their larger models, the weights simply sit loosely on top of the bottom metal crossbars without actually snapping or locking into place. It holds the heavy umbrella down fine, but they can easily get bumped out of alignment, which feels like a design oversight.

It was fairly easy to setup but if you are a petite lady like me, you might need a help to set up few things. The base comes in 4 pieces and the instruction recommends to fill it with sand and water. I filled it with water only and it's holding up fine for now since it is not as windy. Another thing to take into consideration is your balcony height (if you have one). We have an overhanging balcony and had to reposition the umbrella few times so it was not obstructed by the balcony. Overall good product.

Trying to fill the base with sand was an absolute ordeal. If I would have known it was going to be such a pain, I would never have bought this thing. The base comes in four different section and you need to fill each one with sand individually. The opening to pour in the sand is only about 1.5 inches across. Outside of that, it was not abnormally hard to put together, the instructions were not much help, but thankfully it was pretty simple.

Umbrella seemed to be pretty well made. I dont think theres enough weight on the base to keep it down. After I assembled it I cranked it open and a slight breeze caught it and lifted up the base. Had I not been there God only kniws where the Umbrella might have wound up. Because the Umbrella hangs from a center point it tends to wobble a lot when there is any breeze at all. Im talking breeze not wind. I sold it.

We don't have high winds, but the winds that do come in the late afternoon resulted in the umbrella toppling over. Not weighted enough with recommended sand bases.

The only circumstance/isse i can address is that although i did order this, but i recieved a larger umbrella with a round shape, instead of the square one which i am still looking forward to ordering a second time, due to not being allowed to get a return/exchange, but only was allowed a refund.

The umbrella and stand are absolutely horrible! The slightest bit of wind may be umbrella invert and the stand moved. We filled it with sand and water just like the directions said. I have to return it now. I don't know how to go about it.
