Funko Games Back To The Future: Back In Time Strategy Game

This is an entertaining strategy game which my whole family loved. The recommended age is 10 and older so my 8 year old needed some help but it still wasn't too hard for her. My older son and the rest of my family loved this game. The set up of the game takes 10 minutes or so. The rule book explains the set up and rules in detail. The game is good quality. The cards are thick, the clock tower is 3D, the characters are detailed and the rule book has a comic book theme. If you love the movie then you will love this board game because the game is similar to the plot in the movie.

We are a family who loves board games, card games, word games, etc. The Funko Games Back To The Future: Back In Time Strategy Game has given us hours of family fun time. The object of the game is to speed through past in order to prevent Marty McFly from fading away from the future, just as the movie depicts. I love how realistic the board game is, bringing the familiarity of the on-screen movie to board. The best part of the game is trying to beat Biff by keeping him away from Marty's mom. Great for players ages 10 years old and up. Requires 2-4 players.

My husband and brother in law grew up watching Back to the Future and always joke and quote lines from the movie. When I saw this game I knew I had to get it for my husband. It is going to be his Christmas present, so we have not played it yet. The box is super sturdy and full of really bright colorful graphics of the Delorean, Marty, and Doc. From looking at the instructions and board game, it looks to be a really thoughtfully designed game with lots of strategy and fun. There is a 3D clock tower that you actually use to "roll" the dice, which just shows the extra effort put into designing this game for real movie fans. Play is for 2-4 players or teams and ages 10+. The box also says average play is under an hour, which we appreciate in this game loving household! We have so many board games and like to play after dinner. So it works out nicely to have a game that doesn't run too long into the night. I'm really looking forward to giving this gift to my husband and happy it's in such attractive, fun packaging!

I would recommend this game for anyone familiar with Back to the Future especially fans. It would be a awesome game to own if you collect games. This is a great game to play with older children (10 +) to adults. There are a lot of pieces so I definitely would not recommend younger children to play or get a hold of it. The came can be pretty challenging and it does take some time to get through. I'd say an hour or so. I definitely recommend it if you enjoy board games. Overall it's pretty entertaining.

The Back to the Future, Back in Time board game is a game for 2 to 4 players. I am a huge fan of the 80s and the back to the future movie series. Opening the box the first thing I noticed was the detail that went into creating this board game. The quality of the artwork, the details of the pieces and other items are amazing. Even the instruction booklet is based off of a comic book from the original movie and was enjoyable to read through to learn the rules of the game. I would have to say this game is not the easiest to set up or learn but after you played through it and learn all the rules it is very enjoyable. The instruction booklet is lengthy and it does take a little bit of time to get the game set up. There are multiple tiles, dice, characters, the DeLorean, and other items that need to be set up before playing. I also appreciated that they included return tracker to make sure the game flows properly and everyone is aware of the objectives that need to be completed. The thing I like most about this game is that is a cooperative game between you and the other players and you all have a common objective that needs to be accomplished. There are multiple moving parts of this game and multiple objectives that need to be met. I like the complexity of the game and was enjoyed by all my friends who are back to the future fans. Overall the game takes about an hour to an hour and a half to complete. This is a game that needs a lot of explanation to anyone else that would like to join in the game play for the very first time. This is an amazing game that triggers the nostalgia of any back to the future fan or anyone that enjoys cooperative board games.

I was super excited about this item. First of all I'm a big BTTF fan so to have a game that allows me to role play some of my favorite characters is just my kinda of fun! The item is made from high quality materials and the all the pieces are well made. It's a step up from the Milton Bradley stuff that you get. I love the design of the game. My favorite is the instructional manual (Tales from Space) which is designed to look like the comic book that oldman Peabody's son shows him when Marty crashes the Delorean into their barn in the middle of the night and scares the heck out of them! The goal of the game is pretty much like the movie-get back to 1985 buy collecting 3 pieces to fix the Delorean and get Marty's parents to fall in love. Of course along the way you will encounter obstacles and setbacks. It's a lot of fun for all ages and I highly recommend it.

For fans of Back to the Future (and not so fans of Back to the Future!) you will enjoy this game. It is, however, a little complicated to understand at first, but it defiantly ties in the movie and story lines! Set up and instructions are detailed and involved, but we have fun playing and enjoying the game! I love the realistic DeLoran (who could resist?). Trying to get George and Lorraine together without having Biff interfere is part of the challenge. There are other challenges thrown your way as you enjoy the game! Super fun for family members or teams! I would suggest for ages 10+.

This game was so fun and nostalgic. I grew up watching the films and my son just discovered the films. This game will be played for years and years in my family. Great game for adults and teens. Grab some popcorn, candy and soda to complete your game night!!

We enjoyed the back to the future game. It reminded us of the movie. Which also we watched the movies afterwards. It is a strategy game and will have to out think the other players . Also it became a competition between everyone ti be the winner which made it more fun. The object of the game is to race before time because Marty is fading away. It is a great board game that adults can play with your children. It allowed us to bond together and a plato that I am familiar with which is borad games not electronic games. It made family day fun and gave us a back to yhe future movie day too.

I can totally see the appeal of this game for a certain kind of person, but for my family it was too detailed and took too long to play. We prefer quicker games we can play more than once and it's hard to find a game like this that we like. We enjoyed playing it, but it's probably not something we will pick up again, unfortunately. I can see this being a great white elephant gift for Christmas though!
