So, this is quite a handy little device. It is motorized and has several exercise programs preset. While it won’t give as hearty of a workout as a standup elliptical machine, it does give a pretty nice aerobic workout without a lot of strain, and is easy on your joints. I was surprised how well it got my heart rate going. This is ideal for physical therapy, for those with pain in their knees, and for the elderly and those with muscular disabilities.
Set up was pretty easy, involved 12 screws and the provided screwdriver. If you have a decent Phillips head screwdriver, save yourself the trouble and use it. The one provided looked better than it worked. After about 5 screws and it had worn out the screwdriver tip. They should have put the money into the driver metal quality instead of the color contrasting rubber grip handle, but it was free. Assembly only took about 10 mins and was pretty simple. The remote is handy to use, and requires 2) AAA batteries, not included. It does also include a rubber grip pad for use on slippery floors.
