Not like a "real" mattress--more like a foam, "egg crate" style--But, very nice, and my large dog LOVES it. He is old, and has a lot of pain, arthritis, and trouble, when getting up and down, walking, etc...So, putting the bed on the floor was perfect for him. He can walk right onto it, and lay however he wants, and even uses the pillow sides, for his head! He arranges his blankets, and gets very cozy and comfortable, and it's even helping his pain, because he's not on a hard floor, or, trying to jump onto a bed, or couch, which can cause them to hurt themselves. I wish I had bought this years ago, but, it is definitely worth the money!! And, I will be buying another one, if this one wears out, in time. ( So far, this has held it's shape, and has stayed thick, and comfortable!)

We bought the jumbo bed for our 80 pound boxer. He curls up and looks like a tiny dog in it. We probably could have purchased a smaller size, but he also sprawls out when he's hot. The egg crate foam is firm enough to give support for his old joints. The biggest plus is that the bed is completely washable. It has two zippers. One to remove the foam bottom and the another to remove the back cushion. I wash the bed cover weekly to keep our house from smelling so doggie. Good purchase!!

My 8 YO GSD has some hip arthritis starting, and doesn't like the fluffy dog beds anymore. So I ordered her this memory foam bed, and it's her new favorite spot. :-) She loves laying on it, and sneers at the other dog when she comes close (get away from MY bed). LOL! We've had so many dog beds for our GSDs over the last 35 years (some very expensive ones, I'm sad to report), and this one impresses me more than any other. Great price, great memory foam support for my beloved baby, and the cover removes easily to wash it. A . Will buy again and again.

This is the first bed our dog hasn't tried to chew! he's 75 lbs. and just loves it. He flops on it in different positions and doesn't want to get on our couch now. It looks like a couch, very classy. W e've laid on it with him and the memory foam gives great support and stays cool.

Bed was received aas shown in a timely manner. my pitty loves it.

Better then i expected. my dog loves his new bed. good quality. would recommend these to anyone i know has a large dog like mine. i ordered a jumbo size.

the quality bed is good the material seems soft on top the mattress could be thicker it says 4 " but once a large dog gets on it it smashes down to about a half inch could be more firmer the picture is deceiving of the size I have the same size dog and she hangs off the bed very uncomfortable for the dog not fully satisfied or I would have gave better Stars sorry that's my opinion

The bed came in a shrink wrapped bag. The bed was pretty and the material seemed durable. The bed sent had three puffed sides and not two as pictured. I do not think the pad and pillow puffs were as firm as it should have been for a large 120lb dog so because of everything I returned it to Walmart. Because it was sent in a non returnable shrink wrap, I had to buy a box large enough to put it in so that Walmart would take it for the return. The FurHaven reached out to me and offered to send me the one as described in the ad. I declined it and returned it. I think it would be a nice bed for a dog that is smaller than our German Shepherd.

this is the most discusting bed i have ever seen the bottom does not lay flat is is wadded up in a ball along the edge it is nothing like what the picture shows no pad for the dog to lay on only material the only thing i like is the color and pattren. this so called bex is not worth 5.00 i would not recomend.

I am so disappointed with this dog bed. My dog is a 100-pound Doberman, so he needs a little bit of a cushion. Although he has other beds around the house, I wanted one more for our living room. The problem with the Furheaven Dog bed is that the inside material is a thin (and I mean THIN) layer of something (not sure if it is an egg-crate type of mattress). The other beds I have (two in all) have a much thicker mattress that I bought on another shopping website for less money than this one, and they are great! The wrapping or the mattress cover looks too big for the mattress itself; however, the photo on this shopping website shows a much thicker cushion so I feel a little mislead and ripped off. I buy a lot of items for my dogs, but I will never purchase anything from the so-called Furheaven again—it is literally a fur baby rip-off if you ask me.
