This is a housewarming gift and she will love it. It's very heavy and will be used to display collectible items, along with the 5 cube version in one of the pictures. It can be stood up 'tall' or turned to be 'longer and shorter'. Fits any decor. could also be used as regular storage with fabric cubes, or as a bookshelf.

This is such a cute little bookcase! It fits all my kids books and has room for more. There are spots for taller books too. The white and blue 2 tone shelves are just adorable. Note: don't forget to strap it to the wall for little climbers.

Before you purchase, If you're planning to use the square shelf bins just double, triple check the measurements to ensure they will fit as the cubes are quite tight. BUT I love the versatility of using this vertically or horizontally. My small chapter books fit easily but the children's books don't fit unless I lay them flat and stack them. I fit a 55" tv on top when laying horizontally with no issue but will eventually mount my tv on the wall to use the top for decor. $50 was a stretch for 1 but I was in desperate need. No complaints on assembly or structure. Hope this review helps!

Inexpensive and nice looking. Packaged well and delivered quickly.

It's got a ton of storage for books and novelties which is really nice. It was a pain in the you-know-what to put it together. The directions made little sense, no words, only pictures. I ended up assembling it once, realizing something was backwards and took it apart, reassembled, realized the shelves were backwards and just covered the shelves in vinyl because I couldn't be bothered. The wood is very, VERY cheap particle board and if you aren't careful popping the panels onto the wood screws, you will put scratches in it, or worse (like I did) put several massive holes. Assembly is a HUGE pain. All that for a kind of ugly bookshelf? Would not recommend. NOTE: THE PICTURE INCLUDED IS AFTER I ADDED STICK ON VINYL

The boards fall apart easily. The little pegs went all the way through the board, causing a hole on one side. The metal pieces were a night mare the first go around. the second round, the boards would not go in all the way. see pictures. They serve their purpose, also, the blue stickers to cover the screws did not stick well, and my toddlers had them all off in seconds.
