Furinno Jaya Writing Desk with Drawer, 15108BKW

My husband put this together I will say he is a firefighter. Sometimes he doesn’t know his own strength so when he was driving the pegs in the top part of the desk it popped off. And it is pre-fabricated so be very delicate when putting the desk together and take that into consideration. Other than that it will work perfectly for distance-learning for our 12-year-old son. We put a 2 x 4 and attached it down to the back of the desk where my husband damaged it. We stained the 2 x 4 to match. So, for a cheap desk it will work.

I disliked not getting all the right parts. I do like the desk. I was to include a part E and a part F. Instead, I received 2 part Fs so I had to turn one of them around backwards and redrill the holes to get the drawer slide in.

The package this desk came in had a whole in it and the desk was exposed and had a small scratch. There was no foam protecting the desk. Needless to say I was not happy.

The end results look's nice. If looking for “affordable”, I'd recommend this but be aware that most of the corners had gaps or chips. The drawer arrived broken so I had to glue and pin it back together. It was missing a number of pre-drilled holes for assembly.

Price was perfect, design was nice- modern looking. However, I had to return it because box in one end was broken and taped up. Upon opening, the corner of the table was damaged. Tried to get a discount and was told to return to nearest Walmart and repurchase. I refused to order again and risk receiving another damaged item. No option to ship to the nearest Walmart, which would've been handled better during shipping.

Considering I needed something on short notice and for it to arrive quickly, this was it. I didnt need something large, but the assembly of this was awful, it took my uncle almost 2 hrs and the drawer isnt lining up correctly as it should. The box arrived damaged. The price was decent, but I wont purchase again.

Legs have been repainted and you can see the paint streaks. Holes on each side of the drawer that are not supposed to be there. The box was wet and damaged when delivered. I would have returned but it was too close to Christmas, so we fixed it. Not what you expect with a new item. I personally think it was returned then sent out again.

The desk pieces come with marks and are cheaply made, but you get what you pay for. Four exposed holes on both sides of the drawer are useless and ugly. I wouldn't purchase it again.

The assembly was easy but the directions are horrible. The quality is poor. Screws easily were stripped, a dowel broke, scratches on drawer and leg, exposed screw heads because little stickers won't stay on 4 exposed holes on the front side with no purpose

built desk 3 months ago and the front of the drawer fell completely off! there no way to put it back On..
