I miss the old formula

Beth September 22, 2019

I bought the new shampoo and conditioner invigo brilliance for coarse hair and had high Hope's. This new line left my hair feeling weighed down. Prior to this new line I have been using the Enrich line and my hair was so soft. I told everyone I know to use it! I'm so sad it's off the shelves! I just went online and bought all the enrich for coarse hair I could find!! I'm hoping in the future you bring it back!!

HORRIBLE BRING BACK THE OLD FORMULA

Midget June 3, 2019

I have been using the old formula in the big bottles for last 3 years when I started losing hair. My hair is back and I have lived this shampoo, my hairdresser says my hair is in the greatest shape ever. So I ran out and went to buy more and like and behold like everyone else who makes a great product they change the formula and TOTALLY SCREWED IT UP!!! It's awful hardly lathers but could deal with that but my hair feels dirty and is so limp falls straight to my head even with volumizers and blow drying. This is going back to store and I will hunt online for old formula or its GOODBYE WELLA. TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED AND Upset If I could give zero stars I would

Miss the old formula

dakotagirl August 5, 2019

I struggled for years trying to find something that didn't make my extremely fine hair oily and I thought I had finally found it with Wella Brilliance which was recommended to me by my wonderful stylist. When I bought new bottles from my salon on my last visit she informed me the formula had changed but I tried it anyway. I am incredibly disappointed with the changes. The new formula feels like it doesn't entirely rinse out of my hair and it leaves it limp and oily even when freshly washed. The old scent was also much nicer. Please bring it back!

WHY?

xsjenn July 1, 2019

The previous formula was a lifesaver for my fine hair! Have been using it for years. This new formula leaves my hair SO dry. I can't believe the drastic change in quality. Bring back the old formula! I'm sad to say I will have find another brand until then.

Bring back the old shampoo formula!!!

kelly1919 October 10, 2019

Sounds like a lot of people agree--the new lime caviar version of shampoo is not good!! It has left my hair feeling greasy and weighed down. I used the old formula for years. I'll be trying different brands unless Wella changes back to its old formula!!

Total miss

Beckyj January 4, 2020

I cannot believe that Wella changed such a perfect product!! The original made my hair soft and shiny, and the smell...oh the amazing smell, I loved everything about it. This new Invigo version, does not perform and the smell is so different from what I was used to. It smells like other product you can find in any grocery store...plain!! I bought the set without realizing the changes that were made. When I got them and tried them I was very disappointed. My two teenage boys like them, so that is where they are now, in their shower so they can use up every last bit of the huge liter bottles I had ordered. Wella, I beg of you, please bring back the original!!!!

Why mess with a good thing?

AnnieJay May 12, 2019

I've used Brilliance shampoo and Conditioner religiously for over 5 years. Loved everything about it. It made my hair smell Devine, and left it soft and shiny. Went to purchase a couple of months ago, and assumed it was just repackaged, so I picked up a couple of bottles without much thought. Went to use it and discovered it smelled horrible. Tried to give it the benefit of the doubt and have been using it for about 2 months now. My hair is in the worst shape of my life. Dry, brittle and lifeless. Currently looking for a new brand. How a company can see a product go from a 5 star rating prior to reformulation down to a 1 Star and do nothing about it is beyond me. Seriously- there has not been a single positive review in the last 2 months. Surely this should mean something. If I could give this product less than 1star I would. I am beyond disappointed.

A COMPLETE FIASCO

RavenLocks December 3, 2019

Wella Brillance was my holy grail shampoo for years. I usually buy 2 - 1L bottles at a time, so when I received these new ones I was disappointed that they changed completely - formula, smell, and bottle. As disappointing as this was I decided to give it a chance, perhaps the product was actually improved. After two weeks of almost daily use here's how it performed: - The smell is ok if you're into lime, but I'm not a fan. Part of the appeal of the original was how beautiful yet subtle the scent was. - It doesn't lather, I had to use 2X the amount of shampoo to get any decent lather - even then I had to shampoo twice. - My hair has become dull, dry and flat. - It's become incredibly static, it's unreal how much - if I run my hand down the side my hair just lifts up as if I'd rubbed a balloon on it. Just today I was having a conversation outside of my gym and as I was talking I moved my hair off my shoulder and it generated so much static my hair lifted up and then stuck all across my face. It was a little embarrassing, but I laughed it off. My overall experience is that this is one of the worst shampoos I've ever used. It seems as if Wella has essentially created a new product, discontinued an old one, and just piggybacked on the original products' positive reviews and high ratings. They really should have officially discontinued Wells Brilliance and created a new product entirely. It's a shame at what Wella has done with this product. This is a complete fiasco.

bring back the old formula

Marg December 10, 2019

I have been using the original Wella brilliance shampoo for fine/normal hair for years and love it! The best shampoo I've ever used. I was so disappointed when I went purchase a bottle and was told it has been discontinued and replaced the new Invigo line. I did buy a bottle to try and it is awful. It doesn't have a pleasant scent and it dried my hair out. I returned for a refund. Why did they mess with perfection? Please bring back the old formula..please!

Bring back the old formula!

Deanna November 18, 2019

Why in the world did you change the formula? I used the Wella Brillance shampoo for years and loved it! It made my hair look great and it smelled so good! I absolutely hate the smell of the new formula and the shampoo weighs my hair down. I am beyond disappointed. PLEASE bring back the old formula!! Meanwhile, you've lost a customer.
