It tastes so good!!! Tastes like any normal ordinary ketchup, like good ol' Heinz! Texture, phenomenal. Price??? As good as it gets! Awesome price for something labeled as “healthy” or “low calorie”. Same price as any other ketchup. Macros check out, I can eat more of this for less calories than a normal sauce. 5 cals for one tablespoon of this, and 20 cals for Heinz. Love this ketchup, it will be in my house consistently now.
I am always on the lookout for clean options for the little pleasures in life so when a friend told me about this ketchup, naturally I was skeptical. I'm so glad I tried it. It tastes just as good as my own homemade version and is the cleanest, healthiest version I've found. I'm not happy about the modified cornstarch or the sucralose (anything ending in 'ose' is sugar) but they are minimal and acceptable in small portions.
I really love this sugar free ketchup %26 tbh, think it's the best out of all the ketchup I've had throughout my life. You really can't tell it's sugar free %26 has a gourmet taste to it. I don't buy anything else anymore %26 highly suggest you try it if you're curious, you won't regret it!
Where has this brand been my whole life! This is by far the best sugar free ketchup I have ever had. It has great taste and does not leave after taste like some sugar free products. This ketchup also has a thicker consistency like other ketchups. Many sugar free products are thin like water. GHughes also makes other sauces and dressings that are great as well.
Both my husband and I are type 2 diabetics so I have been trying to get and keep us on a low carb diet. This is the first sugar-free ketchup he has liked and asked for more. The price is more than regular ketchup, but, better than the other sugar-free brands out there. Tastes wonderful... we will be getting more.
I'm on a low-carb life style change to keep my A1C low; so far so good! But it's not been easy. I've had to mostly give up a lot of things I like. Luckily, I don't have to sacrafice when it comes to the G Hughes brands. I haven't tried a sauce or condiment flavor yet that's not delicious. I am so thankful for this brand. It is a little pricey, but they last awhile and taste great.
Best tasting sugar free/carb free ketchup on the market. Always out of this product at store and usually buy it online or somewhere else. Larger container would be nice.
This is the best ketchup I have ever used. My husband is diabetic so I bought a bottle. My husband LOVED it so much. I think he may just start buying this now instead of the reg. catsup. The only downfall, it is terribly expensive to use.... Genny
A bit more runny than than the thicker ketchups, but that also means less work to get it out of the bottle. Some folks want to whack the bottle hard many times while bouning wildly the bottle to get out the ketchup, because that's what they've been told is the proper consistency. Not me. I don't drown my food with ketchup, so a bit looser to flow faster out of the bottle is fine for me to put a teaspoon on my food. Kraft's sugar-free ketchup is overly sweet although it uses Stevia (they just put too much into their recipe), so can't taste much of the tomato (I tossed the bottle after 2 meals where the sweet flavor overpowered the food). Although even this is a bit sweeter than I care for, I can taste the tomato. When I eat ketchup, I like the flavor of tomato, not hint of tomato with overpowering sweetness. I don't much use ketchup, so end up tossing a hefty portion still in the bottle when I toss long after expiration. The small bottle is higher in cost-per-ounce, but then tossing more than half of the bigger bottle when it's too old means it effectively cost more. Mostly I have ketchup when I make a meal that others want with ketchup, like with fries (I prefer mustard). Sugar-free means this helps when on a diet. You get the tomato flavor (I'd like a little less sweet) without all the calories. G Hughes sugar-free ketchup: 5 calories, 1 g carb (no added sugar). Kraft ketchup: 20 calories, 5 g carbs (of which 4 g is added sugar).
Tastes better than other sugar free ones but the bottle is small and the price is high so you buy less than normal.
