SAMSON G-Track Pro professional USB studio microphone with audio interface is exactly what I was looking for! My husband and I are starting a pod cast and I was gathering the equipment I needed. I waited on buying a microphone until I could do some research. This microphone is the best quality for my needs. Everything I want is included in the features. It's easy to start using it by simply just connecting it. I don't need to install a driver. All I need to do is connect the included USB cord to my computer. I'm set and ready to go after clicking a few buttons. When I talk about the best it's because of all the features. Here are the amazing features: dual 1” ultra thin capsules with selectable polar patterns, built in audio interface with headphone output to connect to electric guitar or bass, keyboards, drum machines or any other signal source. There's also onboard 24-bit 96kHz analog-to-digital converter and USB output, the onboard mixer allows me to set clean signals for recording, a wonderful monitoring system so I can choose a variety of playback options with zero latency monitoring of input signals. All these features will allow us to create a professional pod cast from the start! I can even use this for LIVE streaming and feel confident that I'm being heard clearly. I'm so very happy with this product and highly recommend it.

This is a high quality microphone that plugs in to your desktop or laptop via a USB plug. You could probably also use with a tablet if the tablet has the capability to accept a USB plug. The booklet (manual) you get with the microphone is not very much and does not give much detail on how it works. Personally, I watched a couple of YouTube Videos and learned a lot. If you are already familiar with this type of microphone you probably won't have any problems. You are suppose to get a free download of Performer Lite. This does not work. I have contacted support and the response was to reset the date in my computer to back before Jan 1, 2022. Doing this will mess up everything else on my computer. Support then told me they are working on a fix for this issue so maybe they can get it working so the software will install. It isn't working for anyone right now. As I stated earlier the microphone comes with a cord to plug in to the computer. One end is a USB and the other is the plug that goes in to the bottom of the microphone. Both connected easily. The cord is plenty long enough for my needs. There is a mute button on the front of the mic so if you want to mute yourself. There is also two plugs on the back of the mic. One for headphones and another if you want to plug an instrument in to the mic. Something like a guitar etc. The mic also comes with a piece to allow you to attach to a different stand if you do not like the stand it comes on. The stand it is attached to (ref to my pic) allows you to sit the mic on a desk. There are several buttons on the front of the mic. This is also shown in the manual. And also as I previously stated there are some good YouTube videos that explain what each does. When speaking in to the mic you won't be able to hear yourself through the speakers on the computer. You will need to plug headphones in to the mic to hear yourself speaking. And also be sure the vol is turned up. There is also a button to control the vol for the instrument and the mic. This microphone could be used for a variety of uses such as recording your own music, podcasting, video games, or just playing. I would recommend this microphone. And would purchase in the future. You get what you pay for. This microphone is high quality and worth the price.

Ive been using a Blue Yeti Pro for years in my work, so I was curious how the G-Track Pro would compare. I was pleasantly surprised. It's solid, both in build and sound quality. It has a comparable bit rate and good clarity. Its perfect for voice work, but I really like the fact that it has a separate input for instruments and multitrack recording capabilities, making it a great mic for home music recording as well. I'm really enjoying it.

Professional quality equipment designed to be used for podcasting, voiceover videos, and any type of voice work. My daughter wanted to steam video gaming and talk to viewers at the same time. After unboxing and setting it up its not difficult to understand the software. If you are going to use this for muckbang you will need to tweet it a little. We've had a ball with this. Its worth it.

This review is for the Samson G-Track Pro professional level microphone. This microphone is very heavy and not made of cheap plastic. It is a USB microphone with an audio interface, meaning you can connect various line level devices such as instruments, and it will convert the microphone and instrument signals into a format your computer and software recognize. We got this microphone mainly for our daughter so she can use it while gaming. She also likes to make videos and upload them on various platforms. Since she has been messing around with the guitar and vocals, we decided to go this route so she has more options at her disposal. There is probably a lot more technical features to this microphone than she will use, at least in the beginning, but if she sticks with it she will have these extra options at her disposal if needed. Besides the 1/4 inch jack for the instrument input, there is an 1/8 inch jack for output to headphones. There is a master volume along with separate volumes for the mic and instrument while mixing the two. There is also a mute button, mono and 2 track toggle, fig 8-cardioid-omni toggle and monitor on/off. It comes with the USB cable to connect with your computer and an adapter for a boom. You can also download free Performer Lite music software from MOTU. Oh, and did I mention the sound is stunningly crystal clear. 5 stars.

The item came defective and not working and because my son threw away the box it came with we cannot exchange it. This was a Christmas gift and we had no intention of returning it. At least tell us where to get it fixed. Will NOT shop your store again!
