Gabb Phone 4 Pro - Teen Smartphone, GPS Tracker, Parental Controls, No Social Media, No Internet, Dark Blue

We really didn't want our daughter to have a phone yet, and also understood her need for one (outside of apps and games). Gabb is a great middle ground that keeps our daughter safe wnd gives us peace of mind while having the ability to communicate. I like the parent interface a lot! This approach has great balance to our needs and hers.

I felt very supported by gabb getting the phone and setting it up. They were very responsive. The phone was easy to figure out how to set up and it's nice to be able to allow my daughter to be a new teenager within perimeters that match the maturity level. I'm glad we have a way to keep her social and still keep her childhood safe

Love that my teenager gets to have a "normal" looking phone (Samsung android) while I can maintain the safety and security of no Internet access for them. Also love that Gabb is adding more and more apps for parental approval. The school based ones are especially helpful. GPS tracking has been spotty lately. Hopefully this will correct itself with a phone upgrade.

It is a Samsung Galaxy phone with an Android operating system. Very simple and easy to setup. Works great to text and call. Does have a few other nice features, but our main purpose is just text and call.

This phone came as advertised. We had no problem with set up or activation with Gabb. It did have an issue in the first week where it suddenly stopped receiving or sending texts, but this was remedied after my son restarted his phone. Hopefully this will not be a regular problem. I don't know if this is a Samsung issue or Gabb issue.

Still a good phone for younger kids but I'm returning because video calling is priority with my to 10yr old walker. Video calling only works connected with wifi So it's not good for us when needing to use away from home.

It's a good phone I really like it. Some things I think that could have been done better though was having texts appear on the lock screen and also having the ability to do basic features on your phone like turning on Wi-Fi or Bluetooth without having to unlock your phone. Also, It would be great to have a feature on gabb messenger where you can send a single message individually to all of your contacts without having to make a group chat. I appreciate you all's services. More kids should have a gabb phone. Thanks! Bye.

We love the Pro 4 Gabb phones thus far. My daughters love to text, video chat, and listen to the (kid friendly) music on it. The cellphone cover cases are super cute, too. Customer support reached out within 24 hours just to confirm we were having a good experience. My only issue is I wish the initial set up was smoother. The girls love how stylish and sleek the phone is, and the colorful emojis they can use for texting. I have piece of mind knowing that parents have control of settings and apps. I already recommended it to a friend.

This was a very disappointing purchase. I bought it a week ago, but even after 3 hours working with their (obviously outsourced) tech support, the phone is still not ready for my child to use. You receive an Android phone branded as a “Gabb” phone. Mine lacked the usual packaging, bur it is unclear as to whether someone previously returned it or whether the Gabb company removes the usual shrink wrap, screen film, etc. in order to do something to it before reselling. The company advertises that the parent can easily activate and set up this phone. This is absolutely not true. If you buy this phone for your l child, set aside at least 2 hours to get it set up and be fully prepared to be left with issues that remain unresolved. There is really no reason to buy this phone over one from one of the national carriers. An experienced agent from your cell provider (or youtube) can assist you in hiding apps, limiting the app store and using mirroring and such in order to protect your child. Please be aware that the company offers its own monthly service plan which you are required to buy. Data is extra beyond 3GB. There is a separate charge for music as well. Incidentally, no support whatsoever is available on Sundays from this Utah-based company. This begs the question -- what happens if my child disappears on a Sunday or some other bad thing happens, and law enforcement needs to contact Gabb? I mean I know it's far-fetched, but isn't that a big part of why someone would let a younger child carry a phone in the first place? To be able to track their exact movements 7 days a week and be able to quickly intervene before the phone dies or is turned off by a sex trafficker, other child mole$ter or some other bad actor? I have never written a bad review before, but I don't want anyone to go through what I did with this Gabb phone. Unless your child is LDS and you are required to buy this exact phone, I absolutely wouldn't. I will return mine of it is still not fully operational at the two week mark. If that happens, then this would become a one-star review.

likes: texting and calling and certain apps able load. Dislikes: tracking location always off😡, some harmless apps not able to download similar to other apps thats can be downloaded etc... Pizza hut u can download but MacDonalds no download🤔. Customer Service is useless and not able to fix problems with phone and i have 4 pro. also, requesting certain apps no response whether its excepted or not😔.
