No assembly needed for this bumper car, which was fantastic. I bought it for my niece's first birthday and will be buying one for the other niece's second birthday. Took it out of the box and within a day the 1 year old was driving it just as well as her older sister.

Bought 2 of these for my 3 and 4 year old (both under 40 lbs). They absolutely love them! My 3 year old picked up really quickly how to control it. Love how it doesn’t go very fast as we have stairs so I like how I can catch it if need be (so far haven’t had to but you know kids..lol). Seems to run for at least an hour to an hour and a half on a full charge.

I bought this on Black Friday for my 15 month old. I cannot believe how fast he learned to use the joysticks. He fell asleep in it yesterday, just absolutely did not want to get out of it. It's a lot of fun to watch him scoot around in it and set up obstacles for him. It's the perfect speed and the battery seems to last quite a while. I know it's recommended for kids 18 months and up but he really really loves it! I was hesitant about getting it because I didn't know if he was going to get the hang of it so soon, but I'm seriously happy that I bought it! Highly recommend!

These bumper cars are so much fun. The joystick controls are easy to use and allow kids to move forward, in reverse, and spin in circles. It is hilarious to watch them in action and the kids have a blast driving around. I bought 2 bumper cars for my kids to be able to battle and chase each other. I wish there was the option to buy them as a 2-pack! The battery seems to last a long time before needing to be recharged. Usually my kids will be riding around for about half an hour before moving onto something else for a bit, then I plug the car in to recharge. We haven’t run out of battery yet so I don’t know the full capacity for it. I’m glad the car arrived with a full battery because the kids wanted to hop in immediately and ride and they were able to do that. The car is lightweight and slow moving enough not to damage furniture or rattle the kids if they crash head-on. The rubber bumper pads help a lot with absorbing any impact. While best on a smooth surface, they are able to go over small bumps like from wood flooring to carpet. We’ve used this car both indoors and on our quiet street. Lots of fun!

My niece (19 months old) adores this bumper car. I keep it at my house for when she comes over in the evenings as my house isn’t completely child proof. I like that she can use this to safely get around from room to room, not to mention she has a blast in it. If she bumps into the kitchen cabinets or wall with this, no biggie, she is fine, the wall is fine, no marks left behind and the bumper car is fine - it is designed to bump into things without damage. To keep her securely in place there is a lap belt and she controls it with two controllers for forward, backward, left, right and circles. The battery life is long lasting, but I charge it every night because I know then it will be ready to go for the next whole day if needed.

Great speed for indoors. The lights under it are super cool. Didn’t take long at all for my 3yo to learn to drive it! Battery seems to stay charged a while and it was super easy to start playing with straight out of the box!!

We got this for my 3 year old for her birthday to give her something to do during the cold, winter days. We have a basement converted to a playroom. She was able to figure out the controls pretty quickly and she is having a blast zooming around. Battery lasts pretty long and it is easy to charge. I would recommend.

Super fun for the kids the only issue we had was the bumper part doesn't stay on very well and the lights are atrocious! Wish you could turn the lights off.

30 days after purchasing it, on black Friday sale, my grandson is one years old. he got to ride it a couple times an now it want even take a charge. it want even come on. very mad about this purchase.

So the item is cute and age appropriate however quality is terrible if the battery. I purchased it for my grandson for Christmas. Opened Christmas Day. On 04/18/24, I had to call the Fire Dept because the battery had faulted. It was about to cause a fire!! I don't want to think , if my grandson was on it and it sparked !
