It was a bit more than what I wanted to pay for, but Gaiam mats are reliably comfortable and sturdy, and I love the Sundial print. Shipping/delivery were good.

Doesn't smell, perfect thickness, and is very sticky. Don't let bad reviews keep you from buying a yoga mat (like it almost did me). Love the pattern. Couldn't be happier!

Me and my 10 year old daughter are just starting in Yoga Initially it was just me but she wanted to do it as well with me), so we ordered this mat and a block for her as well and have used it a couple of times. We are complete newbies all together but it definitely exceeds our needs so far. I got a larger mat as I am 6'2.5" tall so I had to have a larger mat. Either way all our equipment from Gaiam has been of very good quality. Just as an added comment I see a lot of reviews about the smell of some mat's which is kind of strange as these are real rubber which is great but there will be a smell from it because it is natural. All it is is from it being closed up in plastic wrap and therefore the smell of rubber increases. I too my mat out and put it in the basement for 5 days fully extended and walla the smell went away. I personally would rather have natural rubber products anyway rather than a chemical conglomerate of substances because i had to air out the natural product for a couple of days it will be more sturdy and resistant to wear in the long run.

I started yoga several years ago and this is the first mat I ever owned. I just loved the colors, and the name Ice blossom fits the color perfectly. It holds very firmly on the bottom and is soft and non slippery on top. Sometimes due to knee problems I cannot lift my foot in order to transition into another pose so I slide my foot into position without lifting it. The texture of this mat is so soft that it feels soothing and does not give me a skin burn in the least. I really love this mat and it has become a part of me. My toe nails have scratched it some from repeated positioning, but it still has much life. A great buy with which I am highly satisfied.
