When I do my laundry, I choose to use a very minuscule amount of fabric softener so that way I don't have to deal with any residue buildup on my clothes so I stay fresh and clean.

I will say I washed my sheets with it and it left oil stains everywhere. So I would be careful using it on expensive clothes.
