I am very happy with this item overall. Despite the cons, I mostly just want it for a relaxing night time light. I enjoy the slowly rotating color changing mode on the lowest speed.
Pros: It has a stopped, very slow, and increasing speeds to control how relaxing or energetic you want the light to be. (I tried buying the highest rated one on another site and it went way too fast even on the lowest speed.) There is a brightness control also but I usually want it all the way up because I'm using it in the living room not the bedroom. You can adjust the angle of the light easily if you can't put it in the middle of the room, so it's not just in a corner or something. There are many color combinations to be had. You can have sounds if you want but they can be a little less hifi than you might be used to.
Cons: Doesn't come with ac wall adapter. Automatically connects to my laptop immediately via Bluetooth and becomes the speaker for it (I would prefer not to). So every time I start it up I have to shut the lights Bluetooth off with the remote because I'm usually using both at the same time. (If you're older, it also uses an old Windows start up noise you'll probably remember to denote that the Bluetooth is off so that was a little confusing at first.) The sync with sound/music doesn't seem to work. It won't react with my speakers, but I haven't tested if it would work if the sound is coming through its own speaker. I have a feeling it will just be random flashing and not coordinated with the actual music.
