This is our first experience with a solar light. A neighbor said, "Oh, you just need LIGHT." Wrong. You need SUN LIGHT. If it's overcast all day, no night light. We have it leaning against a tall pine out front along with 2 decidedly cheaper solar lights from a big box store. Given that this is a pine forest, getting direct sun has proven difficult. Still, when the 3 lights "ignite" it's a happy bright trio, with this LampsPlus solar at the center, beaming. You can see it a block away. Since we've set this up, a neighbor down the street has done something similar, so this must have had an impact. It's like a little white fire at the base of the pine tree & I love it when I turn in the driveway at night.

I purchased one of these to put on our lake wall to light the stairs to a new dock we had built for our lake boat. It was perfect. It charges even on a cloudy day and remains illuminated all night until dawn. It worked so well I purchased another for the other side of the lake wall. They both look terrific. So good in fact that I purchased two more for our outdoor bbq area and another two more for the side door to our courtyard. They install in about five minutes with a drill and a screw driver. They look very classy and so far have performed very well. They come on at dusk and last until dawn. My biggest concern was the ability to get new batteries in three years when these may start to wear out. I called the manufacturer and they said they have always had them in stock and plan to always carry them. Even if they did not, at $54 each, I could just replace the lights if they last three years.

These are awesome. I am so glad I bought them - they were exactly what I needed. And the light for being LED, and the length of time that they are on, the amount of light they give off - all awesome!

We were so happy with how these little lights worked we purchased more for the other entrance to my shed. I like that I can set them to bright or dim so they do not interfere with the dark sky especially since they last until morning most nights.

They are awesome. They provide so much light to our back deck. I am going to order another pair as a gift.

They are fantastic. Super easy installation. They add a fabulous ambiance to the exterior of my home. I have intentions of purchasing more.
