There is no bite to this shark. He just looks super cute with his sunglasses and does his job. He floats perfectly, resting atop the water while his thermometer checks the water temperature. He is too cool for school while making sure that your pool is not too cool for you.

This is a great thermometer for the pool. It floats and has a string to attach it to the ladder or other fixture near the pool. The top is bright pink, so it is very easy to spot if it happens to come untied and float around. The numbers show Fahrenheit and Celsius, and they’re large and very easy to read. Highly recommend this floating thermometer if you have a pool or hot tub.

As I get older I'm not a fan of cold water and my children cannot be trusted when they say to water in the pool is water in the pool is warm. This thermometer tells me the exact temperature so that my unreliable children ,who like to see me get in the freezing pool, can be laughed at when it's definitely too cold. It works exactly as described and then some.

I always have a thermometer in the pool so I can see what the temp is. It needs to be a certain temp before I will get in it. This thermometer works great. I just tied it on the side of the pool so I can check it frequently. It is very easy to read. The numbers are sized nicely. It seems to be well made, and durable. Thanks for a great product.

I received this item free to write a review. I tried this out in my home because it was easier to get an accurate reading between hot and cold. I let the thermometer stay at room temperature and it accurately showed a little over 70 degrees. I then turned the hot water on in my sink and then placed the floating thermometer in the hot water. From the pictures I'm attaching, you will see it went over 100 degrees. The thermometer stayed floating so it won't sink in your pool, and it very quickly changed temperatures to accurately reflect the temperatures. This is awesome for pools, especially if you're wondering how hot/cold the water is before you get in the pool. The cord is also Tether which means it's won't corrode or weather away in the water of your pool with the chemicals. Great resource to have on hand for your pool!

We are on our 2nd floating thermometer in a few years. Both have had the string break into pieces after 2-3 months. This is the only reason I’m giving 4 stars. Thermometer still floats around and is easy to read yet small enough to not get in the way. We currently have this model and previously had the mainstays with a duck on top. They seem to be basically the same other than the top part that makes them float

You only get 1 not 3. You can not chose which color you want. Just got it so I may update on the accuracy later. I love the size of it. It was much bigger than I thought.
