Great set with a great price

Mimi1140 March 14, 2014

We love to play badminton and I couldn't find a set anywhere in stores so I ordered online. Wait I did find almost this exact same set at a popular sporting goods store...for $59! Really? Anyway. it is a nice set and has the metal poles unlike the bendy plastic ones. Its an excellent deal for the price. Comes in a nice carrying case with everything you need to start playing right away! With the amount of daily playing that my family does, it won't last forever, but that's to be expected. I would recommend this highly to anyone.

Nice Set

walkeja January 4, 2013

Great set for the price! Was purchased in Dec so we won't be using until Spring but for less than 17 dollars you can't go wrong. I was pleased that the poles are about an inch across with a significant amount of overlap where they connect so I expect them to be strong enough to hold up to a breeze while playing

Bought this badminton set for my granddaughter who is 9 years old. She and her friends have really enjoyed it. Great product for the price. Thanks.

Not good for adults

Patti June 28, 2016

I bought this set thinking my husband and I could use it in the backyard with the kids. It is very cheaply made. The racquets are small and the birdies are really cheap plastic. Its a good toy for kids, but for adults you need a little better. You get what you pay for!

Disappointed

LJSpellBo January 15, 2013

The major drawback to this product is that the twine does not have the normal "adjusters" that usually come w/badminton sets. Therefore, it's next to impossible to get the appropriate tautness in the net. Even though I only paid 1/2 of what I usually pay for a badminton set, it's not really worth it since the net remains saggy.

Cheep product

Tatarino November 22, 2013

My 12 yr old son bought this for him and his friend to play. This set broke as we were setting it up. The rope is flimsy and the birdies fell apart after one game. It defiantly was not worth what he paid. I would not recommend buying this product.

Poor

BAO57 March 23, 2013

Received this product and a horseshoe set at the same time. The horseshoe's stated they were stainless steel. In the first game played I threw one of the horshoes, made a ringer and as soon as it hit the stake, it broke. Very poor quality and definately NOT stainless steel. The badmitton set was put up aproximately three days later. Played several games on it. Left it up for the remaining of the afternoon. Come back out to play another game once the sun had set and both poles had bent to the point of non repair simply from some mild to moderate winds. I am returning both of these items and do not reccomend either.

Sadly disappointed!

FairMaiden123 April 18, 2014

I ordered this for my Grandson for Easter, and while it arrived on time and the shipping box was in good condition, when I took the badminton set out of the box - I first noticed that the carry case was torn away from the seams then I saw that two of the poles' ends were flattened. While I could live with a torn carry case, there is no way we'll be able to put the net together, and no time to get another set before Easter morning. Sadly disappointed!!

Terrible quality, don't bother

Jason May 3, 2020

These are so horribly made I'd be surprised if the net or rackets make it two weeks. Basically single use, doubtful I will be able to get it to work a second time. Also the included shuttle cocks are unusable so plan on buying extra. The only reason I kept this is because we are quarantined and want to play but have no other options.
