Rounded top wont' work on doors
First off, the top is rounded so you can't close your door. I tried it on two different doors. Secondly, it is not sturdy at all. I hung a wreath (not very heavy) and all of a sudden after about 12 hours it broke and the wreath fell to the floor. Sorry, but I would not recommend this wreath hanger.

I thought the hanger would have a little flexibility. It has none. When I put my wreath up and closed the front door, the wreath was pushed back about 1/4 inch by the storm door glass. The hanger immediaterly shattered.
