I was apprehensive because of the glass. I filled it with ice, water and took off for the day. It held up fine for a glass bottle. Next day, coffee. Was even better because glass doesn't hold on to smell like steel and plastic. These are a keeper.

Given all I've learned about plastic leeching (I previously managed a team of chemist who researched plastic leeching in blow fill seal packaging for food) I've lately been trying to stop using plastic, even HDPE plastics. I've tried a few glass bottles before but none have been quite so lightweight, so this is really THE BEST glass bottle for carrying around. As with most glass bottles this has the silicone sleeve so that even it you drop it (even from about waist height onto concrete) it shouldn't break. The top is bamboo, but it seems like it has some other material on the bottom so I think that is less to use natural material and more for style. I'm less into that but overall I love this bottle! It's great!

I can now relax when I leave my water in the car. I always carry a bottle of water in the car, because I might get thirsty or stranded. If I forget my plastic bottle in the car I dump it out. Now that I have my glass Gap bottle my water is still safe to drink. Hint: I store my empty bottle in the refrigerator, then I pour my cold water in; it stays cold longer.

I love these bottles. The blue is beautiful and I love that they are glass and don't get a weird plastic smell to them. Two of them in a set is great because one can be chilling in the fridge while Im using the other bottle. It fits well in my car cup holders and I love the non slip silicone grip. Gap has done great with this product. Very high quality.

My Gap Home 17-Ounce Hydration Glass Bottle with Melon Silicone Sleeve and Bamboo Lid , Set of 2 is nice to use when I am outside working in my garden. I put it in the freezer for about fifteen minutes to get it slushy. I can not get ice cube tray ice inside it but crushed ice works just fine. I leave the lid off as It freezes. It is great for a road trip too, I can take a drink and put it back in my little cooler to keep it cold in this Texas heat. It is just the right size for my cup holder in my vehicle. I will not let kids use this because it is glass. I like using these glass bottles a lot. Easy to clean. The silicone around the glass is nice, it won't slip out of your hand. BPA Free. Yes my new go to for mainly water. It holds a decent amount. It doesn't leak. The bamboo lid is much too cute. It doesn't really keep the water cold But if you have it in the fridge and then put cold water in them, they will stay cool. They would be good for trips or camping. I like them. Hubs does too.

Wide mouth bottle with the melon silicone sleeve to keep the drink cool as well as prevent dropping. Dishwasher safe, lid is plastic but has a wooden look to it. Melon color silicone sleeve with a white text gap logo. My girls are going to use their bottles for back to school.

Overal these are very nice and stylish glass water bottles! They are similar to a plastic water bottle size. They have a nice silicone sleeve and cute plastic cover covered with bamboo. I docked one star because one of my bamboo lids has a lot of flaws. It has like a spot that looks like it got the seal sanded off and theres a split in the wood which i think it will cause it to fall off very soon. Thankfully the lid will still work even if the wood all falls off. The other bamboo lid is impeccable! Overall very pleased with them minus the lid flaws.

This is a great glass water bottle, it comes with a bamboo cap and a silicone sleeve, the sleeve helps you get a good grip on the bottle and it lessens the super cold feeling on your hands. Its super cute but very basic, they offer several color variations, I chose the light blue color. The online posting instructs you to hand wash this product, only thing I would have liked was some type of instructions or literature with the product to tell us the details such as washing instructions and the key features, so that I don't have to go searching for the products information online. Other than that its a great useful product, the bottle opening is large enough to put fruit slices in your water if you prefer flavored water.

I was curious if they might be too heavy to use everyday, but after trying it, it worked well. I Especially like that it keeps my daily lemonade so much colder that they were, when made in plastic bottles. I really like that the tops are bamboo, which is supposedly hypoallergenic. Anything that promotes being more sanitary than the plastic bottles!
