My picture may make these plates appear to be black & white but they are white with an assortment of blue patterns. I use solid white dinner plates so these plates are the perfect accent with the white. The plates are 8 inches in diameter. They are very thin ceramic but that makes them very lightweight. They're very cute and go perfectly with my beach cottage themed home. I like them!

They state salad plate on the packaging but these can serve for so many choices. The size is perfect to hold a sandwich, desserts, a salad or even several cupcakes for serving. They measure 8" in width and they have a slight saucer shape so things won't slide off the plate. Go ahead and load that chocolate syrup over the top of that brownie! The blue pattern on white is very attractive. The plates have the feel of fine porcelain as they are lightweight and simply pleasing to the eye. You may want to pick up two packages to equal having 8 of these in your cabinet. They are of course dishwasher and microwave safe. They certainly appear far more expensive than the actual cost.

Let me start off by saying I love these patterns. They are fun, and are more lively than most dishes in my cabinet. I was a little surprised when they arrived that the patterns were dark blue. I initially thought they were black from the pictures, but I still really like them. I love that they aren't too heavy, but they are thick enough to feel like good quality. They aren't too thick though, and they're the perfect size. They're listed as dessert plates, but I use them for everything. Appetizers, sides, desserts, or sometimes even my whole dinner. They're microwave and dishwasher safe, and seem like they'd last a long while as long as you take care of them. They look great for both a casual or fancy dinner table set up. My family and I like them a lot and use them often.

I love these dessert plates are the perfect size for either a dinner salad or a big chunk of cake. My great grandbabies were fighting over which one they got to use. They go great with my white dinner plates saucers and cups and they had just the Right touch of color.

I love the fun patterns on these plates, and they are my favorite shade of blue. They went through the dishwasher and were used in the microwave with no problems (both important to me when buying dishes). These also match my solid blue dinner plates so overall I am very pleased.

These plates are so pretty and made very well . I love the designs and the size is perfect for appetizers or desserts. They ran through my dishwasher with no issues of paint chipping or any damage. I love them and may try to get larger plates in the same style

I love these colorful plates! I love the fact that they are multi assorted colorful fine ceramic plates that I will definitely use on multiple occassion's!

I love these plates, they are so cute! So far they have held up nicely, we will see in the future how they do to kids. The stripes and polka dots just really add beautiful character to this plates. The paint held up nicely to the dishwasher. Super cute and adorable! Great additional to our current plates!

I am in love with these plates! For a few reasons. I didn't want to buy a set of dishes because I didn't want saucers and coffee mugs, and that's what usually comes in a set. They're nice and thick and sturdy enough you know you can put a lot of food on there and it won't slide off. It's perfect for everything, especially anything with sauces or gravy. Very pleased.

I love these dessert plates. I would prefer more colorful colors but I love the designs. Only downfall is I have grandkids and they are at that clumsy stage in life and breakable anything is a danger lol. These are best made for adults only. They are great for a piece of cake or pie. They are a great buy and very strong and somewhat thick. Pick up a few for adult get togethers.
