I love this dinnerware set, it is really nice. Is is a place setting for 4 and it's absolutely beautiful! The plates and the big bowls have the same design, the saucers and the small bowls have each, a different design. I like that they are not the cheap, thin dinnerware that chip easily, they are of a medium thickness and easy to handle. We use these everyday and throw them in the dishwasher, I don't know if these dishes lose their color if you use the heated dry setting, because I always air dry them. They are so nice, that, I'm thinking of getting another set, but in a different color.

First, I would like to say, the description says light blue but these are not light blue. The pictures do show them accurately that they are more of a royal blue, which is exactly what I wanted. I recently moved and these are perfect to update my new kitchen. My backsplash has royal blue in it also so these continue that color scheme. I have a relaxed country decor with white cabinets. I love that the patterns are not exactly the same on the bowls. My sister felt they were a little lightweight, so only time will tell how durable they will be.

The Gap Home 16-Piece Fine Ceramic Dinnerware Set is lovelier than the photo shows. It is made of bone porcelain for strength and durability; it is breakable and hopefully shatter resistant. The set contains 4 each of 10” dinner plates, 8” dessert plates, 6” dinner bowls and 6” bowls. It is definitely elegant with some pieces having a whimsical pattern. The dinner plates and dinner bowls share a classic dual stripe border. While the dessert plates and bowls have 4 different fanciful patterns with one dessert palate and one cereal bowl having the same design. Although it can be used for everyday purposes, I prefer and plan to use it for Sunday dinner and special occasions. Although, the set is dishwasher safe, I much prefer to handwash. It is also microwave safe. I chose pewter (gray) to match my dining room, but other colors are available. Now I will now search and try to get matching drinking glasses; I am certain I should be able to get matching mugs. I give this set 5 stars because they are flawless (no blemishes) and beautiful! The Gap 16 piece dinnerware set is absolutely what I needed. It comes with 4 plates, 4 bowls, 4 shallow bowls and 4 salad plates. Each piece is light weight and the contrast in the bowls and salad plates makes a statement. The pewter is a gray color so is very versatile. Really like that the set doesn't come with coffee cups! Have washed in dishwasher many times. Haven't used in microwave. I would highly recommend this set.

How great are these? Four cereal bowls, four soup bowls, four salad plates and four dinner plates. Everything you need for a nice evening of casual entertaining. Each of the four bowls is a different design in red and white and it matches each of the four salad plates. The dinner plates and soup bowls match and all four of those are the same. It is a wonderfully fun way to eat breakfast, lunch, casual dinner. And they look so nice in the cabinet. It makes cooking fun and eating even more so. On days when it is arduous to cook and get dinner ready, these lift the spirits because you can't help but smile at polka dots on a cereal bow. Kids will too. Big and small. They were packed extremely well and they shipped quickly. I would definitely recommend these because they also can also be accent pieces to kitchen decor. I have a black counter and these really stand out on the shiny black top. These aren't China, but everyday dishes. And the GAP name of course inspires confidence, GAP Home, and...it doesn't disappoint imho.

These are my second set of these dishes and I love them. Not only in my favorite color but the quality too. They are dishwasher and microwave safe. Heavy weight and so attractive they are my go to set not only when company comes but every day as well. To have the red theme is just icing on the cake. It matches everything. Would recommend.

these dishes are light and clean up very nicely....luv the unique salad ...was so excited to receive them that i washed them and put them in the cupboard...praying they hold up to everyday wear and handling...looking to order another set...the dinner plates are a little smaller than a regular dinner plate.

The Gap Home New Antique Pewter 16-Piece Fine Ceramic Dinnerware Set is a very nice and modern looking dinnerware set. Love the designs on the set. The Grey and white colors and patterns are super cute. Comes with 4 pieces of each item. Dinner plate which is perfect size for your meals and also a smaller dessert sized plate. The bowls I really like a lot, has one set that is really deep which is great for cereal or salad. The other set of bowls is more shallow good for ice cream or little serving of soup. I'm very pleased with the look of this dinner set. Look like they are made to withstand many uses.

I have the blue set. Love the polka dot plaid/stripe pattern, brings a little fun to the table. Good quality ceramic, reminds me of my old Corelle dinnerware set. Also love that it comes with two different size bowls; 4 salad style bowls and 4 deeper cereal bowls. Also includes 4 dinner plates and 4 small plates.

This is a really nice set of dishes! You can use them for everyday use or even a nice brunch with family or friends. Each piece is lightweight, but not fragile. I've washed them in the dishwasher and heated them in the microwave without any issues. I've put everything from hot soups and ice cream in the bowls, Hot food will make them very hot, so be careful handling them. Also when heating in the microwave they will come out very hot. Use oven mitts or something to pick them up and hold them. The dinner plates are good size for full meals. The smaller plates are just as nice, just your typical salad or bread plate. We use them for small lunches and deserts.
