Gap Home Playful Patterns 8-Piece Blue Melamine Dinnerware Set is such a fun set. I really like that the bowls all have different fun patterns while the plates all have the same pattern. The bowls are good for cereal, ice cream, salads and so much more. The set can go in the dishwasher but only on the top rack. I will more than likely be washing by hand since I would only be able to get the bowls in the top rack of my dishwasher. I would not suggest putting these pieces in the microwave. My family likes to eat outside a lot in the summer months and I will mot have to worry about anyone dropping and breaking a plate on the patio. This set would be a great gift to the college kids going off to college.

Gap Home Playful Patterns 8-Piece Blue Melamine Dinnerware Set is great to use in my outdoor entertainment kitchen. The melamine plates and bowls don't break or chip if my guests drop one. We can cut and eat steak on them without scratching. The set is not microwaveable so we use them outside and they fit our use perfectly.

I love this cute Melamine dinnerware set. It is so whimsical, playful & fun. I love that the dinner plates are the same, but the bowls are all different. All pieces are Red & White which makes it all work together. The dinner plates are 10" dia., the bowls are 5 3/4" dia & 3" deep. These are going to be great for dining outdoors this summer.

This set is only 8 pieces, but, for me it is what I need. I never use the cups, so that's a waste of money. That's why I was glad I found this. The color is really bright and makes your settings stand out. These dishes are great for cook outs, also. They can be used out doors, because, they are break resistant.

I LOVE THE DESIGN OF THIS SET ITS SO COLORFUL. THIS IS GOING TO BE GREAT TO USE WHEN I DO OUR BBQ'S. VERY HEAVY DINNER WARE COMPARED TO OTHER MELAMINE SETS I HAVE HAD. AND THE PLATES ARE A VERY NICE SIZE . THE BOWLS ARE A GOOD SIZE TOO WILL WORK GREAT FOR A SALAD OR A FRUIT BOWL YOU COULD ALSO FOR SOUPS AND EVEN A CERAL BOWL. YOU COULD PUT IN DISHWASHER BUT I THINK I WILL BE HAND WASHING THEM TO MAKE SURE THE COLOR DONT FADE.

This 8 piece dinnerware set is adorable! I absolutely LOVE that these are not made of glass and only come with the plates and bowls. This is all we use in our house that matches, I don't need the saucers and tiny coffee cups that never get used - this is perfect. There are 4 bowls and 4 plates. The plates all have the three red circles going around the edge and the bowls each have their own red design. They are super cute and very easy to clean. I highly recommend these bowls and plates - especially if you have kids or are sick or the heavy old glass plates!

I like the appearance and light weight of the dishes. I always seem to need extra bowls and plates. Yellow is uplifting, offering sunshine, happiness, and cheerfulness. The four 11-inch dinner plates and four 6-inch bowls with different fun patterns are made of Melamine. Melamine is a quality food-safe plastic that is durable, easy to clean in the dishwasher, top rack only and has antibacterial properties. I look forward to using them every day.

My family loves this 8 piece set of GAP Home bowls and plates. They are dishwasher too safe only, so honestly we really only use the bowls because I can't fit the plates on the top shelf on the dishwasher and I do not like to hand wash things. My kids kids eat a lot of cereal and the size of these bowls prevent multiple refills. The design is very cute and trendy. They are thicker than the average plastic bowls and plates. I highly recommend.

This set of (4) bowls and (4) plates with its simple design are pretty. The 10-inch plates are a good size. They don't have a borderline which does cause any type of gravy to run, as opposed to staying in the center. We have enjoyed using the deep bowls for ice cream. Because they can hold a good amount. They are dishwasher safe, but not microwaveable. I would probably use them the plates more if they were microwaveable. But they are a safe alternative to use. Overall, I do enjoy using the set.

This Gap Home melamine dinnerware set is a cute pattern. I got the yellow and each bowl is a different pattern of yellow stripes or polka dots. The plates have yellow stripes towards the outside of the plate. The dinnerware set seems like it will hold up well. I used it a couple of times and so far it doesn't seem like it gets scratched easily as some melamine dinnerware does from cutting meat etc. The bowl size is great for ice cream, cereal, and many other foods. They look nice on the table to add that punch of color. I have one bowl that has a red line going through it. I've tried to wash the bowl by hand and in the dishwashe, but I can't remove the red line. Also dishes are dishwasher safe as long as they are on the top shelf of dishwasher. The plates won't fit in the top of my dishwasher and that is a problem because I use my dishwasher for everthing. Over all if the bowl didn't have a red line going through it and plates would fit in dishwasher I'd be very pleased with the set. That is why only 3 stars for me.
