Great aftermarket catalytic converter for a 2005 Honda Civic Hybrid
This catalytic converter is an excellent aftermarket alternative for a first-generation Honda Civic Hybrid (2003-2005). In fact I would say this cat even qualifies as a performance enhancement over the stock cat simply because the pipe diameter is much larger (see pictures for example of new (OEM) vs new). Installation was easy it fit up perfectly. Manifold gasket was of good quality. The ring gasket was not used because that connection requires a graphite donut-type gasket. Be sure to pick up the correct gasket before attempting installation. The paint applied to this cat does take a while to burn off be sure to run the car outdoors while the paint smokes off. Otherwise this unit is very well made and you certainly can't go wrong for the price.
