This was my first time trying to grow any kind of vegetables. I figured that potatoes would be an easy start. These bags are very easy to use and very convenient. I have a very sunny spot, on my patio, that works well for this project. The potato plants are growing like crazy. The bags have very good drainage, are easy when filling if it isn't windy. LOL Can't wait for the harvest.
these bags are made of a tarp type material. theyre a great size - i ordered to plant potatoes. i followed another review's suggestion about folding down the sides to start the potatoes and unfolding it as they grow and get deeper soil amounts. the pavk came with 3 bags and the velcro flap is very secure. it has grommets in the bottom for drainage which is nice too. overall i am very happy with the purchase!
These are made really well, I bought some more of them to day. I bought the rolling plant dolly and it worked so good, I'm having 8 more delivered tonight. I don't know what I would do without Walmart. Thanks. for the great customer service. M.M
First season using them, so far everything is going great. I like that. It has the opening at the bottom and also holes at the bottom of the bag for drainage. I need to purchase more.
looking forward to home grown potatoes
we bought to many potatoe seeds and needed a couple extra containers and bought these. works great. we rolled the bag down and as the plamt grew bigger we rolled it up and added more soil. easy to remove potatoes. we washed the bags for next year.
I received word that my order was delivered, but I never received it. Turns out it was delivered to the wrong house. Walmart credited me the price of my order, $13.00, and I ordered more bags from Amazon. In the meantime, I posted to Nextdoor if someone received my order, please bring it to me. A few days later my package from Walmart was on my front porch. Should I return the $13.00 to Walmart?
I look forward to using these grow bags, having the ability to see how well the veggies are growing is a boon.
I just got them. I haven't had a chance to even use them.
Not one piece of paper with directions was included! No pictures, no How-To's, nothing! I would love to use these but have to give 1- Star because they are useless to me without some kind of guide as to how to use them effectively.
