Garden State Bulb Bartzella Itoh Peony, Live Bare Root, Spring Planting (Bag of 1)

bulb was shipped promptly and in very healthy condition. Planted a week ago and its already about 3 inches tall. Very happy with the quality. Can't wait to see the blooms as it matures.

Came in time frame written in description. Beautiful healthy bulbwit shoots already starting. Can't wait for it to bloom. My first yellow peony.

I ordered two sets of these Garden State Yellow Peonies because I've been looking forward to adding them to my garden. Unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing plant purchases I've ever made. The peonies arrived in a very small box, which immediately made me wonder how two complete sets of roots could possibly fit inside. When I opened the package, I became even more confused. Both individual packages had already been opened before they reached me. I'm not sure if they were opened during shipping, had to go through customs, or if they left the warehouse that way, but they definitely were not sealed. The biggest problem was what was actually inside—or rather, what wasn't. There were no peony roots, bulbs, or bare-root plants in either package. Instead, all I found was loose soil scattered throughout the bags and empty plastic packaging. It honestly looked like the roots had either fallen out or had never been included in the first place. I paid for two complete sets of peonies and received nothing that could actually be planted. There was no chance these would ever grow because there were literally no roots included. It was incredibly frustrating to open the package with excitement only to realize I had received bags of dirt instead of live plants. Quality control clearly failed somewhere along the way. Whether the packages were damaged before shipping or the roots were accidentally left out, this product should never have been sent to a customer in this condition. I now have to go through the hassle of requesting a refund or replacement, and I've completely missed out on valuable planting time. This was a huge disappointment, and I cannot recommend purchasing these based on my experience.
