Gardex Leaf Scoops 24 in Plastic Garden Rake with Steel Handle

I've had these for a couple of years and just love them. Bright yellow so you can't lose them and they tuck into each other to store. Heavy duty plastic so they'll last a long time even if you leave them out. It takes a bit to get used to properly using them. I find you must put your whole hand through the handles otherwise you don't get the strength to lift and your hands will get tired. Sometimes I take a shortcut and get in a hurry and use them by just holding the handles and I'm not as productive. You can use them to gather stray leaves and rake under shrubs. You have to be able to bend up and down! You can lift enormous amounts of leaves. Also, they are made in America!

Please add the word pair, to the description. I wanted two and got four. I ordered two as a gift and wound up with eight. They work perfect. The old farmer next door even likes and uses them now.

Such a great idea! Wish I had thought of it - made picking up a large amount of leaves a breeze! Also, it helps rake the stragglers as you clear your leaf piles. Highly recommend !

For years I thought of leaf scoops as unnecessary, and that they were a silly garden gimmick. Now I wish that I would have gotten these years ago. They made quick work of picking up piles and piles of raked leaves and garden debris. They are comfortable to use, bright yellow and easily seen, really get the job done fast, and are made in the USA. They would make a great gift for a gardening friend who seems to already have everything.

Leaf Scoops by Gardex may look silly but they are such a time saver! Walmart has the best price hands down, using the free delivery to the store was even better. Would highly recommend the Leaf Scoops, you may feel silly using them, but when you see how fast the piles of leaves & debris disappear you will wonder how you ever got along without them!

This product is exactly what I was looking for! I was amazed at how many leaves it picked up in one scoop. It made picking up leaves much easier. Plus it fits perfectly inside the yard bags to push them down and make more room in the bag. I highly recommend this product.

I guess I was expecting something more substantial or heavy duty for the price. I picked up a couple pile of leaves that filled several pickup beds and it worked better than just using your hands but I was hoping for something that could grab larger quantities with each attempt. It worked better on leaves piled up the same day they were raked. On a pile that sat for a few days and settled and had a lot of moisture in it, the paddles could not grab leaves very well. Product does work good at the end of the pile when remaining pile is low and scattered. Still have to use a rake to consolidate the pile at the end. Has not broke yet which I feared would be an issue considering the weight / feel when I first put them on my hands.
