Gargoyles: The Complete First Season (DVD)

The show was a personal favorite of mine growing up, and thought huh that would be nice to have for memory lane. It came in quicker than I thought, and was able to relive my childhood again! Even my husband enjoyed it. The discs were of good quality, no scratches. Played wonderful on my PS3. If you are a fan of the show, you won't be disappointed!

What future cartoon shows should perspire to be. One of those rare television series that only comes around once in awhile. So happy that this iconic show finally got on dvd.

Yeah, I know, pretentious overweening title for a review of an animated series, but bear with me. This show has more tragedy, better characters, and clever dialogue than 90% of what you'd television today or yesterday. The show has powerful themes of love, loss, and treachery across its entire run. Along with great animation and great villains it is shameful the show wasn't finished (3rd season doesn't count) and the moral guardians had to butt in to ruin what drama might have been greater with their ridiculous bans on things like guns and punching (why, exactly, they never came down so hard on, say, Batman TAS or Power Rangers-which was imitable violence I will never know). This series is also a great way of introducing the younger set to Shakespeare.

Bought it for my niece and she loved it! My dad even watches it with her lol. I highly recommend Gargoyles for a nostalgic feel of 90s cartoons.

I've loved this series since I was a kid and I tickled to find it on DVD. It was an added bones that it was on sale at about $20.

Arrived on time, but my original copy was defective. They immediately shipped a new one, and I didnt have any trouble taking the defective copy to a physical walmart despite having bought it online. Replacement copy works perfectly, and I didnt hace to wait very long for it to arrive.

I recieved my Gargoyles first series 2 DVD inside the dvd case. I loved the series of Gargoyles, missed seening this series use to saw it ch.7, Disney channel also. I'm little disappointed with the packaging no protection. Least nothing broke inside the DVD. Next time put bubble wrapper, more cardboard box to protect the DVD. Glad it works fine. Can't wait to see the other continue of Gargoyles 2 series on DVD in my mailbox soon today or tomorrow soon. Happy, hope to see it soon. Thank you.

I gave this a three because I was truly disappointed. I was so excited to fine The Gargoyles dvds I ordered The Complete First Season it has two dvds and Season Two has three dvds. My disappointment was the first season ended on episode thirteen when you put in season two it picks up on episode twenty-seven. That's eight episodes missing and it's just a big gap in the story line. I felt I got ripped off.
