This is my favorite affordable rug set. I do a LOT of comparison shopping, and try to find quality items that are also in my (single parent) budget. These fit the bill. The rugs are large, don't slip and they warm up my cold kitchen floors and they look great! This is the second set I've purchased, our last set is now in a playroom.
Item was delivered ton Chevrolet dealership and not my residence. Was confused on why they stated hone delivery, but delivered it to the parts department no where near my residence. Pethaps FedEx has a personal vendetta against me or Walmar's idea of home delivery means just the same city that you live in.
I only gave this a four star rating due to he packaging of the runner. Rather than it being rolled, to eliminate any folds or creases, it was folded in half and then rolled. This created a crease that has still not relaxed even after pressing it down with heavy objects over a period of several days.
It came folded in a box. Terrible idea. It will not flatten out. It stinks something terrible like it's been sitting in a train car for 8 months of summer. I haven't put any furniture on it yet and I try to flatten it out multiple times a day. It's been quite a while. I'm actually so disappointed. I'm going to return it. And what's worse is I bought 3 for 3 rooms. When this one came out like this, I didn't even open the other 2. I love having rugs, but these aren't what I wanted.
There were multiple areas in the rug where the yarn/material was not twisted properly, did not stay in line on the loom, or whatever, as those thin strands showed the backing. Ordered three of the rug and all had the same issue.
This carpet came folded into a giant square and stuffed in a box. It looked like it had been returned previously. It was not wrapped in any type of protection and it looked scuffed up. Because it has a pattern on it, you can tell it was cut completely wrong. It's extremely crooked. After having it on our living room floor, I still can't get all the fold creases out of it. Very disappointing. I just placed an order for a different rug to replace this one.
I have purchased 3 of the 9x12 rugs from Walmart and have had issues every single time: wrong color, wrong size, shipped to wrong location. The rugs work great for covering hardwood floors to protect from cats…if you are willing to wait far longer than expected and go round-and-round with customer service. Rug was supposed to be delivered prior to my move in to another apartment. Now stuck with an ugly colored rug because I NEED TO PUT ONE DOWN TO MOVE IN and they cannot fix the problem for another two plus weeks. Is it so hard for your staff to select a black rug when that is what is requested?
It's a classic case of "too good to be true." While the rug's design and colors are beautiful, the quality is lacking. My rug arrived with several bare patches (roughly 1/2" x 3") where the fabric was completely stripped away. Such a disappointment for what could have been a great piece
First - the rugs were in a box not sealed in plastic. The boxes were basically falling apart. Moving on - they are not navy. They are royal blue. They are ugly. The material is cheap. My husband even said ewwww. Upon return - we had to use an enormous amount of packing tape on the boxes so they would stay together. No refund yet - 12th business day. Just don't.
The design of this rug makes it impossible to vacuum. The design has raised parts that prevent the vacuum from having any suction on the depressed parts. The dirt just stays there. I was able to suck up a sock to prove it did have suction but it couldn't suck up crumbs on the carpet, so I knew it wasn't my vacuum that was the problem. It was the rug. Poorly designed. Now I have to throw it out and start over $$$$
