Walmart's garlic is the only garlic that has completely repealed any vampires from coming near my home! Other garlic suppliers garlic hasn't done the job sufficiently. I was having to keep extra silver stakes in my arsenal just to keep the vampires from invading my home. Thank you for saving us! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Love this fresh garlic. I peel it and bake it into crispy cubes to add to my fried potatoes. Totally delish!. Bake it around 375 in grapeseed oil with onion salt and black pepper for around 30 minutes. If it’s not crunchy enough for you. Leave it in for an additional 15. That should do it!
Fresh garlic cloves are so good for you. Sometimes I just boil them and eat them plain for immunity purposes. I love to put them in various homemade sauces. I use them anytime I am cooking any sort of meat too. I use them so often I sincerely thought about growing my own lol. For now I will just continue to buy these. Fresh garlic has such a superior flavor to jarred garlic. Give me a thumbs up if this helped. :)
Fresh minced garlic adds a flavor that just doesn’t compare to powders or jarred products. It’s cheap and 2-4 cloves is a quick, ez prep by hand with a lil practice and a good knife. Makes a noticeable and delicious difference in my sauce, meatloaf/meatballs, and skillets.
They grow everywhere I plant a clove. Break up the bulb gently, after peeling some of the papery skin off. Put a clove in the soil about 2" deep with the pointy end up, the end that had roots down. Water if you want them to grow right away. Everyone of these I planted sprouted, too early though in Oct, but the sprouted leaves will die off in the winter and come back in the spring. I grow them with dill to repel bugs mostly, haven't tried to harvest any yet. They also taste great if you want to eat them too.
Please consider buying this garlic fresh. If you currently buy jar garlic make the switch and never look back. The flavor is unmatched. You use far less because it’s so much more potent and rich. It’s not as easy, sure. But fresh garlic is so worthwhile. I use mine in making sauces or rubbed directly on toasted bread then topped with oil and tomato. It’s a great price and keeps well on the counter
I purchased this garlic bulb expecting it to be fresh, whole, and each. I can confirm it was fresh. It was whole. It was, without question, each. At no point did the garlic attempt to be stale, partial, or several. I respect a product that knows what it is. I used one clove to make a garlic crust on a lamb rack. The crust was excellent. The garlic contributed to this outcome by being garlic. I used another clove in a Caesar dressing, and the salad was improved by the presence of garlic in it, as salads often are. I roasted several cloves alongside a chicken, and they became soft and sweet and golden, because that is what garlic does when you roast it, and this garlic was no exception. It performed the full roasting sequence without complaint. I was so pleased that I separated one clove and planted it in a pot on my windowsill. It is currently growing. It is doing this on its own, which is frankly more than I asked for given that the listing only promised fresh, whole, and each. This garlic has exceeded its stated mandate and I am choosing to view this as a bonus rather than a breach of contract. Would buy again. Am growing my own now, technically, but will still buy again out of loyalty.
Garbage is what i received when ordering garlic 3 bulbs Repeatedly walmart send produce that is Bad, starting to rot, poor quality is sent. Meats are an issue to. I am disabled and rely on pick up because i am unable to walk into the store i shouldn't have to pay for delivery and tip too just to be sure my produce or meat selections are of decent quality
I have yet to receive a fresh non sprouted non-browning free from mold, head of garlic from the bulk garlic. is it too much to ask to have fresh garlic right from the store? it has to be who they purchase from because this many times cannot be a coincidence. ever hopeful, I think this will change. give me a heads up and let me know when it does.
I ordered 4 bulbs of garlic, which appeared to be a reasonable and acceptable size. What I received was completely unacceptable for the price. All 4 bulbs were unusually small (see photo). I have been to the produce section in the store. The garlic order I received was not the quality you find in store.
