Great value

Bigblake August 15, 2026

I really like the band. I have always used my Garmin watch as my primary fitness tracker so I had to wear it all the time. Now I use the Cirqa as my primary device and I can wear my Tag watch when I want to wear some bling. This is a much better value than the Whoop subscription plan and you get the same data.

Good but room for improvements

Bry93 August 16, 2026

I am loving my cirqa the light weight and screen less design is what I had been looking for. It has become my daily wearable. I enjoy wearing mechanical watches but didn't want my health data to lapse so I was stuck wearing two watches on each wrist. The cirqa solves this problem. Although I do wish the heart rate sensor would've been the gen 5 as this gen 4 lacks a barometer that doesn't measure floors climbed. Other than that it's a great addition to my Garmin wearables.

Perfect (for my needs)!

Eeek5127 August 10, 2026

It's super important to understand what the Cirqa is and how it will fit into your health/fitness journey. My smart watch is from another large tech company and I still wear it. I got into the Garmin ecosystem with the Edge bike computer. That turned into a HRM, the Garmin scale and BPM. I wanted to track all of the other things Garmin offered, so I got a Vivosmart 5 and have worn that for a few years. When the Cirqa came out, I was super happy it see it had training readiness, HRV, and a ton of activities that the Vivosmart didn't track. I ordered the Cirqa the second I could. I have been extremely happy with what it does. I have it set up to track my walks with one button push, use it as a HRM on my indoor trainer, and I am super happy with the metrics it gathers. I have no problem with the sleep- it tracks it well. I don't care that it's an older sensor- I don't need EKG. My only complaint and this is really on me- the S/M band doesn't fit my average wrist like I would expect. I need to size up. This is a great screen less tracker and I am super impressed with it.

OK, but some not so good points

rawsid August 21, 2026

Good, but these are my frustration points 1) Battery Life is stated at 10+ days, that is true if you turn numerous options off 2) No reports when there is no access to the internet, I go camping and often have no access, therefore the device is useless 3) I thought I would go with the lighter colored band to better blend in with the arm, it gets dirty very quickly More later as I have only had the device a few weeks

Still on the fence

Parker 02 August 23, 2026

I've had mixed experiences so far. Auto-detection for cycling is hit or miss — sometimes it picks up my ride automatically, sometimes it doesn't register at all. For running, the only metric I can see is heart rate, which is disappointing — I'd really like pace and speed to show up on the app too. I also tried using the elliptical tracking feature, and it just stopped working partway through the workout for no clear reason. Overall the core idea is solid, but there are enough bugs and inconsistencies right now that I can't fully recommend it yet. Hoping future updates iron these out.

Wondering

Prewski August 12, 2026

I bought this to see how my recovery was progressing and have had it for a little over a week and loved it but the past couple of days things don't seem to be going smooth. Shows the heart beat slower now than what it is, sleep didn't record last night and the warning that my battery is low keeps coming up on my app. Don't know what is going on.

Terrible app

FirstGarmin22 August 20, 2026

Had this for a few weeks and the band itself is fine but if you're going to sell a screen-less activity tracker then the ui and software of the app cannot look like it's from 2013. This is my first Garmin and if I had known how ugly and confusing the Connect app was, I would not have bought it.

Not ready for prime time…

MarcA August 11, 2026

Good idea but so far software / hardware bugs have tainted the experience. Alarms don't work, have to shutoff/turn back on device after a charge, poor recognition of activities, and poor battery life. Example: Using device only in the evenings/night with pulse ox on only during sleep and I get 4 to 5 days between charges. Not good…. Great product for my use case (supplement for forerunner965) but to date the device is not living up to my expectations nor Garmin's own specifications. At least not yet - really looking forward to a software update. This update's performance will indicate what I do next with the Cirqa. 🙏🏻

keep looking elsewhere

anonymous August 17, 2026

this thing is terrible at tracking sleep. it discarded the first sleep session of 5 hours and kept the second sleeping session of 3 hours of sleep.

Missed opportunity

Sad customer August 23, 2026

Just bought it wore it for a week and had to stop wearing it. The sensor on the band sticks out, it's like a little bump, but it irritates your wrist so badly. Even if you wear it looser or move it around, it doesn't matter, very big design flaw. If the sensor was flat like the Fitbit models, this would be amazing. Pretty good app, very disappointed. I had high hypes.
