I'm a runner, run 2x Marathon's per year. Used to have Whoop and Fitbit Air. The Cirqa feels more premium than the others. It is big, i have a small wrist but still feels very comfy. Although the Garmin Connect app has lots to improve to be near Whoop and Google Health app. Will keep the Cirqa just because of the ecosystem.
So far I really like the product. It gives the data that I like, comfortable to wear. I wish the Garmin Connect app was better layed out. Some of the leading competitors have a much better and intuitive app. My biggest complaint is switching from a wrist strap to and armband strap. The small pins are truly a pain to get back in which changing bands. Garmin should find a better solution for those who like going between bands to give you skin a little rest from wearing the device 24/7.
I bought the CIRQA, when it was launched, so I have been using it for a month now. Everything has been fine so far, but the reason a gave it 4 stars is because: the battery life, it only last 7 days at the most, not the 10 days advertised. And I don't even record activities with it, nor do I have the Pulse Ox, on all the time, only while sleeping. For a device that doesn't have a screen, the battery life should be longer than 10 days or at the very least, the 10 days it was advertised. The other thing is that, it must have a bug or something, because it keeps telling me that “my bed time is approaching”, when in reality, my bed time is still 11 hours away. Those were the cons, now the pros: -Is very light. -If the band gets wet, it dries quickly, even if worn. -It charges very fast, it takes like 20 mins to go from 5% to 100%. -So far, it has synchronized with the Connect App, with no problems. -Is very accurate with the steps counting. -It has been detecting my naps, something my other Garmin watches, struggled with. Overall I'd say that I'm happy with it, is doing what I intended and purchased for which is, to keep recording my everyday/lifestyle data, without having to wear my beloved but bulky Forerunner or Fenix. For my hard core workouts, I'm still wearing my Forerunner 965, and all keep doing it until it dies on me.
I have been overall happy with the Cirqa-smart back. My one complaint is battery life. It claimed 10 day battery life. I get 3-4 day life before I have to recharge. Went in and turned off all alarms as that is supposed to help, but didn't make much difference. Do love how it syncs with my Garmin app on my phone and don't have to pay a fee for the info.
Battery life a lot less than I thought it would be, I really hope the software gets some new updates soon, it seems there are a lot of kinks to work out. I'm giving the benefit of the doubt right now because this is a new line but I hope the software updates smooth out some of the features
Bought this thinking it would be minimal and barely noticeable on the wrist. But it is the feels like I have a watch on my wrist, and I am a large wrist man It gives you good metrics but not as much as a watch Should have bought a watch as it feels like I'm wearing one and I would like the extra metrics a watch gives
This device is absolutely terrible and so is the support for it. My whoop was inaccurate , but this thing is a proper disaster. Only thing its good for is sleep (sometimes). I have a garmin Fenix 8 and the stats are completely different.
this thing is terrible at tracking sleep. it discarded the first sleep session of 5 hours and kept the second sleeping session of 3 hours of sleep.
I've been a loyal Garmin customer for years, my bicycles all have Garmin computers, my watch is garmin. This product was rushed, the sleep tracking stopped working after 3 days of use, after waking up it would read that I burned 650 calories , not accurate at all. I waited months for the Cirqa, even returned a Whoop band given to me as a gift., I wanted my Garmin app to handle everything. I have returned the the cirqa band.
