Garmin DriveSmart 61 NA LMT-S

Packaging on this item was generic left me wondering if I didnt purchase something refurbished or a copycat knock off. Other than that everything appears to be working great

This is the unit to buy for 2020 for family trips. Need to find a store, this unit helps. Need fuel, this unit helps.

Not what I expected really.... volume and speaker are pretty poor, you can't choose your screen layout or anything. Probably better off buying a cheaper model and get the same thing... Nothing! It was advertised as "North America" but it only gives you the US. Spend half the money and get the same thing for less.

I am not sure if this was a new item or return since it came inn a bag instead of a box with very small printed instructions. I paid more for it when I purchased, and was disappointed with what I received for the price. Have not been able to try it yet as I had to order a cable.

We have only had this new Garmin about a week and it stopped working. I am going to have to take it to a local Walmart, to see about exchanging it.

I ordered this unit as new from Walmart and it came packed loose in generic packaging such as refurbished normally comes in, I highly question whether this product is new as stated. I have not yet used the product, so I can not attest to it's fitness for use. I am highly disappointed with Walmart!!!!!!

It arrived with 0 documentation. Had to search online to find out how to operate it. Then - it would not charge off a USB properly. Finally figured out the "new" power cord was defective, and I bought an after market cord to get it working. QC - there does not appear to be any. The Garmin itself is nice - the people that packed and shipped it are worthless.

Package arrived as a large (about 2 ft square) with something smaller in the box. On opening there was a smaller box (about 1 ft square) that contained the Garmin with some bubble wrap but the Garmin (about 6.5 x 3,5 inches) rattled around in the box. The Garmin was in a plain plastic bag (like a sandwich) with no documentation or wrap to indicate that was a NEW Garmin and NOT rebuilt. The device seems to work but I remain skeptical. If I wanted refurbished I had many options to order one. Now I am not sure I got what I paid for.

I was so shocked when I received my order. I received a brown box with a generic label. When I opened it, the box contained a Garmin, accessories, and a little booklet. No original Garmin packaging was included. I reviewed my order to make sure that I had not purchased a refurbished item but my order read “ new”. Based on the state in which the product arrived, I could only conclude that the product was used. I returned the product immediately. I felt mislead about having spent almost $200 compared to what I received. Take these negative reviews to heart when making your decision to purchase or not- Buyer Beware!!!

Sorry Walmart, but my rating is based on the experience using your third party vendor HONEST DEALS, and has caused me to rethink any future purchases with your online business unit. Reading the item description I believed that I was purchasing a new item, but was instead shipped a refurbished (not marked refurbished) item that failed on the first trip of length.
