Easy set up. Went on first ride without a route in place. Just went for a recovery ride for time. Came home, tracked route I just completed and uploaded on own to Garmin Connect.

Perfect bike computer!
I am able to keep track of my distance, speed, time and heart rate using an external heart rate monitor. Love the size of the scree, not too small and not too big. Cannot wait to download a route.

A good monitor.
This is not a touchscreen. You have to push buttons. It's a bit on the pricy side. I can clearly see the screen numbers even with 6 windows. I wish it had an 8 window option! I got it up and running with moderate ease. I had to get rolling to do the final steps. I worked perfect the last time I rode. I didn't need anything else to get the usual stuff but if you want cadence you will need a cadence sensor which just arrived and I plan to apply soon. I haven't figured out how to link it to my phone yet but will continue to try.
