Comfortable and stylish for everyday use. Multiple layouts for a custom/unique feel. Easy to navigate between options. Easy connection with other Garmin products. Yardage is accurate for golf. Location for hiking, trails, exercise is spot on. Not a touchscreen, but the glass is durable. It has stood up to years of abuse (work, hikes, sports, exercise, etc). There are cheaper options, but this is a great watch for anyone who enjoys multiple activities. The battery life depends on many factors, but overall does well and only needs charged once other twice a week.
Good battery life and excellent activity tracking.
This watch is still going strong after 4 years!!!
I upgraded to the fenix 6 after using a Forerunner for several years. This is a worthwhile upgrade! The GPS occasionally wanders in heavily forested areas, but otherwise I have no complaints. This watch is stylish and works as well in professional settings as it does while running.
Lov this watch! I have a lot to still learn about it but it has so many features. I have a small wrist so I got the Garmin Fenix 6S so it was smaller and it fits great! I had to get used to the weight; as it is a little bit heavier than my old Garmin 235 but after a few runs in it I was totally fine. The only feedback I have is actually for Expert Voice - It was really hard to know which color/style I was purchasing and was pretty nervous. I didn't know if I was going to be getting the one I wanted from the product description; luckily it was the one I wanted!
I had a chance to use my wife's Apple Watch when I was waiting for my new Fenix 6s to arrive. I've always loved there phones and will never use anything else but the Garmin Features give me exactly what I need to track and monitor my fitness with out the distraction of other things. My Fenix 6s is amazing and keeps me focused on my fitness goals.
I no longer have to cover my face with sticky notes for all of my exercise and diet calculations. Stores necessary notes for when I'm hither and thither, allows me to do about everything I need in minutes without having to think. Brings the lot, and then some. This special edition comes with the added bonus of a leather+felt band, which is quite nice for someone with the skin of a princess.
I've had my Fenix 6s for around 6 years connected to a Samsung 9+. Worked perfectly always connected. I broke that phone and began using a Nokia G22. Nothing but trouble. Will not stay connected. Deleted and reconnected the pairing on both devices. Deleted the Connect App a couple of times. Adjusted every setting possible in developer mode as well as the obvious battery optimization ones. Nothing works apart from toggling Aeroplane mode which reconnects for about 5 minutes. Surely the app can be configured to account for the aggressive battery optimizations of newer kernel phones. It really makes the watch no more useful than any digital watch without the connectivity.
It's a nice enough watch but it's not at all intuitive to use. It doesn't come with an instruction manual, and the one I found online isn't very helpful. It also constantly unpairs itself with my WiFi and stops tracking my stats. It's difficult to use while running when I want to use my map and change the song I'm listening to. When I click away from the map it stops tracking my run.
I bought it, was over the moon with it. With every system update was getting slower and slower. Now the light button and vibration mode don't even work
