I had a Garmin Instinct. Beat the hell out of it for about 6 years. I didn't need a new one but I decided to treat myself. I got the Solar Instinct 2X because I didn't want to break the bank. It just arrived and I got it all set up. I have no doubt this thing will be just as good- no, better than the Instinct I had previously. If you're shopping for a great watch, that can be beat up with no worry, the Garmin Instinct series is a no brainer.

Had it for a month now and have only charged 2 and each charge only took 30 mins top, very impressed with that. Watch does everything the older model does but better.

Great watch! Packed with even more features than I originally anticipated. If you're on the line about purchasing this watch just pull the trigger. Awesome battery life along with solar charging With all of the features running constantly backlight, using the flashlight, vibration on, using GPS some I have only plugged it in to charge it once in a month. It STILL had about 1/4 of the battery life when I charged it. For a smart watch with so many features it last longer than any other smart watch I have run across.

Garmin makes excellent quality products and this watch has everything I've always wanted in it. I can monitor my health and wellness and use the watch for more locational info and metrics that help me plan. Walmart ran a deal and it was the perfect opportunity!

I bought this watch for my husband. He loves it!! It has so many functions. Would recommend for anyone. Arrived on time and in perfect condition. The price was lower than any other and because of I bought the extended warranty. It was about $100 lower than Amazon . Thank you Walmart !!

I normally run a Gshock rangeman and I love the simplicity. I did not want to go all the way to an Apple watch so the Garmins seem like the best of both. It lives up to it! Super tough and great features, really easy interface after learning it. Connects flawlessly and has all the features you need and non that you dont! The best feature I would have never expected I used so often is the flashlight. The only downside is I wish it was a red LED instead of green. Very lightweight and comfortable and can take other watch bands. I wish ExpertVoice carried the other watch straps. Overtime this band may break like my Gshocks but the material seems softer and less brittle. 10/10 watch highly recommend over the standard instinct 2. It has a larger battery and more surface area for solar. The standard 2 tactical for me is just too small. This fits perfectly!

It's a great watch. I have several automatic watches. A G Shock Mudman and this one is getting worn a lot. Its data is easy to read a customize. It gives me the meat and potato's from my phone. “You're getting a call / text” without dumping all my info out there. I'm happy with it. Its large face does not wear large. The built in green/white flashlight is cool

Wanted to use it a little while before reviewing. This is a rugged watch with many useful features. There is a number of things I probably won't ever use but good to have on it for people who do use them. The sleep report and my heart info is one valuable feature I use daily. I get up and get a cup of coffee and look at my morning report for my sleeping and heart. Check my body battery and weather for the day and I like the way I can customize the report and watch face to make it easy to read and informative.

I bought the watch for a gift and it is a really good product. I wish that the face was a little brighter. But the watch has great features.

I went from charging my Apple Watch every night to barely thinking about charging my Garmin for weeks — and that's with plenty of daily steps and runs!
