I purchased this watch at $170 off and I think at this price point, was a good deal. The watch does not function the same as other smart watches. It does not have a touchscreen, and the display is more subtle and monochromatic. Once you learn to navigate the buttons, the watch is fairly simple to use. It accurately keeps time, monitor your heart rate and easily pairs with your phone and alerts with notifications. The fact that this is also Solar frees you from having to continually use the charger. This is also GPS based for accurate timekeeping. And there are a number of apps available for download for athletic training. It will also function as a Golf GPS watch by sending the course from your phone to the watch. It must be first downloaded onto your phone.
The battery life claim was somewhere between 30 and 70 days but I haven't gotten longer than 25 days. Everything else is great I never take it off!
Very fast delivery everything came as expected
It is exactly what I wanted. The heart rate monitor seems to be quite accurate.
Love this watch so many options and looks good!
Loved it, but had to exchange due to it not having the physical flashlight feature.
I had a very good experience with the Instinct Crossover watch. However, after two years, it started to have some problems—the hands no longer matched the current digital time. Even after two years, I didn’t expect such great service from Garmin, but I was impressed. Excellent company. They sent me a perfect refurbished version of my watch. I will only buy Garmin from now on.
Great watch. Pretty much indestructible.(pretty much). I've had mine for like 2 and a half years. There was a problem with the watch letting in water. But I had put it through war at the point with Surfing, skating, lacrosse, free diving, high elevation. It's broke my fall a few times to say the least. When I messaged garmin after 2 years they said “that's alright send it in and we'll replace it.” I was so stoked. Anyway, it has everything you need as a running/ active wear watch. It doesn't have the sleep coach which is the only real bummer. But if you are looking for a durable watch for rootin around in the mud and taking a few spills this is the watch for you. Have a good day thank you for reading!
The LCD could be a bit easier to read, but it's pretty good. Overall a fantastic watch. I love the physical hands. I need that in a watch! Love that you can temporarily nudge the hands out of the way of the data on screen with a button push, too. GPS is top notch, as expected. This thing is loaded - it's got tons of fun stuff built in! I may just have to check out the other Garmin watch offerings.
User interface is confusing and sometimes right out bad. E.g. when needing GPS, the watch shows a blank screen, without any information and is totally unresponsive. Uploading apps sometimes just enqueues them, but uploading doesn't actually start. Synchronization of data with the app is a similarly bad experience. Sometimes is works, sometimes it doesn't. Right now, the watch is unable to sync heartrate and sleep data.
