I have had my Garmin Instinct for a while now. I wore it recently on holidays to Turkey. On a cruise and whilst swimming it flipped off my hand as the clasp broke. It went down too deep to dive for, but on the return trip on the cruise 7 days later I had someone dive for it and found it on the bottom of the seabed about 8 metres down, all working and still going. Awesome.

This watch is definitely built tough. My husband uses the GPS to track our hikes and the duration, heart rate and workout features to track calories burned at the gym. It syncs with the Garmin inReach so he can see messages sent or notify for emergency help. He wears it often in the pool and sauna and it still looks nearly new with no scratches. We are very happy with this purchase and feel like the price has been justified so far.

My kids got me an Apple Watch for father's day. I was not a fan of the product and returned it in the hopes of finding an alternative wearable tech that would be suited for my lifestyle. I am an active father that likes to the great outdoors. The apple product was nice but too dainty for outdoor activity. The Instinct has everything you need in a wearable tech product minus the fancy color screen but then again everyone has an expensive smart phone within reach for the vivid color experience. The battery life and GARMIN's gps accuracy was the selling points. WALMART.COM is my choice for buying tech, great customer service!!!

I got this for my husband, he's rough on watches and they usually break or get scratched pretty easily but he loves this one! It holds a charge a lot longer than my Fitbit does as well. My only dislike is I can't figure out how to turn off certain notifications-every time our security cameras go off his watch does as well (which he can see on his phone). Overall, great purchase!

Coming from a Fitbit Charge 2 I was looking for a fitness tracker more than a smartwatch. I always have my phone on me and don't necessarily care for smartwatch capabilities like responding to texts or answering calls from my watch. I also prefer to have a device with at least a few days of battery life. The Instinct fit my needs perfectly. I've also been very impressed with the customization of screens that's available. Not having to worry about getting the Instinct wet or taking it off when swimming has been nice as well. I'd previously lost and damaged previous devices when I'd taken them off to swim. You definitely trade the sleek and slimmer appearance found in other smart watches for durability with the Instinct. If you like the style and don't mind the (very slight) extra bulk, it's a great buy.

I bought my Garmin Instinct watch a few years ago and it has been mostly reliable, however for the past few weeks it keeps disconnecting from my Samsung mobile phone. Although it is relatively easy to pair the watch and phone it has been inconvenient, having to reconnect the watch most weeks. Other than this, this the Garmin Instinct has been very reliable, with ample daily health information.

I would like to inquire why my garmin tactical instinct watch suddenly drains its battery fast. Just yesterday it was still on 2 bars and today when it got low battery, i charged it and fter having full battery it suddenly drained after 2 hrs. Pls help on what to do to bring it back. I still have its original charger with me and is still using it.

Great piece of technology, while it was working, I really liked using it. However, it failed in less than two weeks. Further, the inability to shut off display of bluetooth delivered weather, notes, and calendar really disappointed me. Finally, being forced to use the bluetooth tool to set goals, such as daily step targets was a user irritant.

Ordered this from Walmart.com came from a third party. Opened the box and the watch was just in the box lose. Could clearly tell that is was a used watch even though Id said NEW on the description. Returned it and ordered through Amazon for the same price and is was packaged properly.
