I’ve had this watch actually for 6 to 7 years almost the battery still holds up better than any watch or phone I’ve ever owned wish there was a trade in offer so I could get the newest version but I ain’t complaining with my current one.
I've had this watch 5 years and now it powers off after about 30 min. Wont stay on. I love this watch. How do I get this watch to you to fix.
A good all-terrain sports watch, resistant to fresh and salt water, suitable for all kinds of sports. But, after six years, it started acting up. The battery life isn't great, the solar charging is a bit of a joke, and although the GPS function is excellent, in my case it started having an internal glitch that causes it to shut down when starting an activity.
The watched worked very well for around 12 months. When it it working properly it is a great watch. Unfortunately it isnt working properly anymore. After a full charge it will indicate 26 days of battery life. After 9-10 days it starts to shut down without warning. It just goes blank. I am constantly having to restart it.
Piece of trash. Second instinct I got that didn't even make it a year. They should be embarrassed with their quality of such a simple watch
Love this watch design and features. The reason I'm only giving it two stars is this is my second one, and both have only lasted around a year and a half before they started to randomly shut off. I get anywhere from 2 min to an hour before the watch just turns off. If you look at the reviews this is a very common issue. The watch is too expensive to only last a year and a half. Also, being that it is a tactical/outdoor watch I expect it to be durable. Please fix the battery life.
My Instinct Solar got stuck in an endless boot loop. I tried entering Test Mode and doing a Master Reset, but nothing helps. Are there any official repair options or replacement programs available for this hardware failure?
After less than 3 years the solar stopped working, it cannot keep time and date properly. It looses information and cannot sync it to Connect properly. These problems occur even after resetting the device, dumping Connection and reinstalling it. Today I lost over 23,000 steps.
I have bought this pricey solar powered watch believing not to have to worry about power anymore. What a disappointment discovering that the Achille's heel was actually the defective battery and a horrible power management. Even keeping everything switched off (no more smart functions) the device was shutting down at any key pressure, or other attempt of operation. GPS was never connecting and, as consequence, the "smartwatch" become another e-waste in the drawer... Garmin? NEVER AGAIN!
I bought this watch after using a Casio, and it was disappointing how, after only a few months, the watch started turning off by itself. This issue started when I used one of the tracking modes for the gym.
