Quality made and easy to use and has the best settings for your rv

This is my forth Garmin GPS and it is fantastic. Pros: fast, good voice recognition, great screen and the integrated dash cam removes one item from my windshield. Cons: can only pick one metric to view during navigation. My 760 has the option to view 4 metics. Overall 5/5 stars.

Good but too sensitive

Bonieux June 23, 2026

It works well for planning routes with our large rv, the touch screen could be a bit less sensitive at the edges, just adjusting the angle will cause the screen to go back to the previous screen and you have to start over. Irritating!

RVcam 795

101VN69Richie February 12, 2025

I bought this to assist me with trip from Jacksonville, FL to Orlando FL to attend a Veterans Conference with an Organization by the name of the 'Forty & Eight', which traces it's start to WWI! The 40&8 Honor Society of Veterans uses the WWI Box Car as it's logo as those small railroad boxcars were used because they had the numbers; 40/8 posted near the doors, which signified that they could load 40 men or 8 horses into a boxcar! That is how the doughboys were sent to the front line trenches to fight! As I hadn't driven thru Orlando in a numbe of years I found many changes in the Highways going thru there and the RVcam 795 assisted and guided me to my destination quiet well! I had no idea they had built an Express Lane thru Orlando and for the small extra cost it was well that the RVcam795 advised me to use it! At one point near downtown Orlando traffic (I-4, on a Friday!) was 3 & 4 lanes sitting at a dead stop while I drove past them at 60 plus MPH! Additionally, the voice assist, although I had to turn the volume up to hear it (I'm 75 yrs old) it gives you exceptional instructions and in timely manner so you have time to consider what's being said! All in All, this is the best GPS I've ever used and I have in the past used several of Garmin's GPS Units! I give this GPS Unit a solid 10 out of 10! A very good GPS to use! My son drives Big Rigs and he's going to use and try it out as he's considering buy a GPS to use in his 18-wheeler and this may be of help to him in deciding wheter to buy on specifically for use in the big rigs!

Better than google maps

Btcruizer July 13, 2025

I'm quite pleased in the difference of using the Garmin. The routing is so much easier to understand. No last minute “turn here”

Great features, easy-to-use

MarkC4 April 15, 2025

Currently on first road trip with the RVcam 795. Bright clear screen, louder than my phone. Clear lane instructions. Wish it displayed current time. And be aware, the RVcam only mounts from above/over head. If mounted from dash, camera is obstructed because it is not possible to flip the screen image.

Almost perfect

JLMAC July 23, 2025

Since this is an RV model, I expected it to be perfectly designed to fully support RV navigation challenges. It missed the mark by providing a choice in “Avoidances” for tunnels. Most RV travelers have compressed gas (propane) tanks on board that may be restricted.

Not for a Class A

Chazmore July 1, 2025

Garmin makes a great product and their reliability is fantastic. But I returned the RVcam 795 because it just didn't work for my Class A application. The mount is limited to windshield use only to not obstruct the camera and that places the screen and functional buttons 3-4 feet from the Driver. As a result the screen is too far away, as are all of the controls. This product may work in a Truck or Class B/C setup but it really wasn't ideal for a Class A. I searched for alternative mounts to place it on the dash and found none available. For my application a GPS and separate dash camera will work better.

Two bad units in a row

795_RV junk! January 16, 2025

First unit within 2 days started saying” The memory card is degrading! New unit and card! Returned and ordered a second one. Unit started saying thing. As before I removed the card, cleaned and reinserted. Still says the say thing. Drive using unit for 3 hrs yesterday plugged in to the usb power in my truck, unit went almost completely dark. Unplugged both ends and replugged in. When I unplugged it the unit said battery in gps was low? Still dark! Left off for 7 hrs, headed back on trip and it was working again. Unit still popped up about memory card. I am going to send this unit back for refund also and look at some other brand!
